It was nice to read about the yovraj's father...but one can easily make out that it was quite exaggerated....bowling 10 overs with one eye...what he is trying to prove????

Regards...

Very touching feelings from Yograj
by S_Hegde on Oct 22, 2003 08:50 AM

I still remember him being tipped as better than Kapil Dev and he didn't live up to the promise for whatever reasons. But, his intense love for cricket and his country, his desire to realise his dreams thru his son Yuvraj is very emotional, touching and inspiring. This story shows that a single minded dedication and hardwork by a father-son can produce heros in our society.

crap

This article is full of crap. He can try to produce a bollywood film. A son taking a revenge for his father. Cut the crap, rediff. This is kind of emotional articles are stupid. If he had talent he would have made it. Whats the point in blaming Kapil Dev et al.

I am moved and pray to god to fulfil this father's dreams
by Vimal Kansal on Oct 22, 2003 05:09 AM

I am really moved by what Yograj had to go through. At the same time I admire his dedication towards the game of cricket and hats off to him for giving India a very talented lad. From the bottom of my heart I pray to God to fulfill this father's dreams. In one days, Yograj has already established himself; what a performance - on 13 occasions he has scored more than 50 and out of those 13 occasions, India won 12 times! No wonder this guy is called "Desi Bevan".
