The mad addiction to the cricket by the masses and classes alike in India has wasted thousands of billions of precious manhours and that much of productivity. No wonder India is still one of the poorest countries in the world.
Dear Mohinder (Amarnath), I remember, way back you had called them 'bunch of jockers", Today, you would rather say "bunch of smart and corrupt jockers" nothing surprises Indians in this era of Telgism.
Commercialisation has scaled unprecedented heights in popular games - Indian Cricket , European football and American base ball... Players are making a lot of money by sponsorship. Its time the boards started charging money from stars for playing. The more famous a player, the more should he be charged...WE NEED OUR CUT TOO...its in keeping with standard bureaucratic procedures. The bigger the project, the more initial money you shell out. Before you start blasting me out ...must I say ...I was kidding.
i sincerely feel this bribery issue concerning indian selectors is only tip of the iceberg , and i am very sure after some time it will create a lot of hulla in the parliament and a CBI probe would be ordered but The hapless CBI , even if it will sincerely try to investigate , someone would pressurise it not to reveal the real faces , some of them even big since all these people travel in the same boat . Kya hoga india kaa????
