In the world where US can defend attack on Iraq, this person is doing the same for Murali Chuckertharan and Shoaib Fekhtar. I do not agree with the bowling action of lots of bowlers including Brett Lee , Jeramine Lawson etc and same goes with Murali and Shoaib. And concerning the 3D analysis, there are movies made in 3D which show us what really is not there and sometimes also shows more than what is present. I think Cricket for the Disabled(More physically abled than normal in this case according to Doctor) is a much better place for Murali and Shoaib and likes of him.
Like "left are fast" or "right arm off-spin", chuckers are now part of variety in international attacks. BCCI should not lag behind and start identifying some good chuckers. Some long term thinking is required as what with all the corrective action stuff, it takes a good 2-3 years for a chucker to establish himself. Clearly, we are behind teams like, Pakistan, Austrlia and West Indies. Maybe, we should look at left arm fast chuckers??
Great !Now we have a man actually defending chucking. Cmon ,there ARE sports for retarded people.Bring them under special category. No Kidding, Indians don't like disables to play. I don't know if anybody noticed but he was employed by Sri Lanka and Pakis to clear two biggest chuckers in the game right now. The third one is Australian naturally he is going to defend them. All this Aussies have something against Indians. Maybe because they cannot beat Indians in India. Lee, Murli, and the Paki they all chuck. Especially the Paki which was so obvious during the world cup match against India the match maybe India Baiter Foster didn't see. For Foster Information Indian Umpires have never called anybody for Chucking except for Lawson where as it was all Australians who have called bowlers for chucking. Trying to ruin carriers of good bowlers. They better not mess with Bajji during the tour down under in Dec 2003.
I totally disagree with Foster. I am not a great fan of Mr. Bedi. However, the ICC has a great responsibility towards controling the game. If a person has more disability than Shoaib & Murali, will you support him throwing the ball towards the batsmen. Please it doesnt make sense, if a person has a disability, it doesnt mean that he should be allowed everything in the world. May be who knows you may say that Person with disability should be given one more chance if they loose their wicket while batting, Comeon giving me a break. If a person has some problem with his legs, do you want to say that he should be allowed to play football with his hands. Great Joke, Mr. Foster.
It is a serious problem, I am not an expert of Cricket, but, I do know how to hold the bat and ball. Therefore, I strongly feel that Murali and Shoaib are capitalizing their inability in a big way and that will bring the interest of the game down. I dont want Tendulkar/Ponting being bowled by a chucking ball becoz these guys have inability.
Mr. Bedi never complaint about Wasim or shane, so jealous is immeterial Mr. Foster.
It was unbelievingly stupid of Faizal to keep repeating on the lines of not allowing Shoaib/Murali to play (thereby implying people with physical disability should not play!!).
And even when Foster expressed his displeasure at such line of thought, Faizal persisted, leading Foster to to give a reply which denigrates the whole Indian nation. I think Foster's irresponsible reply saying "....it is Indian line of thinking...." deserves highest condemnation. Based on one particular journalist's queries, Foster cannot assume it is the thinking of the whole nation.
And such is the white-skin-worshiping attitude of our people that not only Faizal took it meekly, Rediff also published it proudly, without giving any feedback on this.
It would be appropriate that Foster is rebuked for making such light remark about Indians, and Faizal be removed from such assignment immediately.
I find it thoroughly disgusting that every tom dick and harry discusses the so called suspect action of Murali, Shaoib and now Lawson! Even though everybody agree that Lee's action is not an action, but in fact he throws 80% of his deliveries, no one even mentions him. And these 2 great umpires, Venkat and Shepherd dont have the guts to report on Lee. Its all lop-sided ..its all the color of the skin!
It seems Mr. Foster thinks Murali and Shoib dont chuck because the he gets paid by their Cricket boards.The best way to clear all ur bowlers Foster style is " Hire Him" and he will find some reason why ur bowlers dont chuck....
Its obvious that foster is "taking sides", with murali and shoaib since he worked for both these teams and from thats where his "bread and butter" came from! Hire him and tomorrow he will say bhajji too was god-gifted :-)))
