Just like its position in the world, their cricket is also a thing of the past.

present day cricket is a competetion between the mediocre and english cricket in the far end of this spectrum

as one of the chapell brothers said ' the last good thing the english did to cricket was to invent it!'

and this was told in the 70's or the 80's

so why are we discussing english cricket or what is left of it in 2003.?

Brilliant!! Finally someone has spoken the truth, I've been looking for such an article for ages, English cricket has no gumption and the players don't mind if they're rubbish, as long as they can play (in the proffesional's case for a lot of money) and they're not too interested in improving their own game either. On England's tour of Australia on Michael Vaughan looked like he had bothered to work on his game in order to take on the Aussies.



The lack in fighting attitude shows in county and even village cricket, somethings got to be done!!!
