You can be assured that the Match Refree (Mike Proctor) will turn a blind eye to this as has happened in the case of pitch tampering, which he termed as a genuine mistake. This will continue to happen as long as you do not have a say in the ICC, which still, unfortunately, is ruled by the whites. When the Indians appeal loudly, it is a crime but a Shaun Pollock can jump up and down, there is absolutely nothing wrong in it. A Williams can celebrate a wicket but not a Venkatesh Prasad, who can be fined.
As long as the Aussies don't cross the accepted limit of not abusing the player's immediate fly or using unparliamentary language then I don't think any Indian player should complaint. After all the Indian players are no saints!
It is really sad that some players of this champion team are resorting to such kind of cheap gimmicks. This has been happening in the past and it is high time that ICC takes strict against these kind of ugly acts.
Stop whining and get on with the game! Sledging has been and will be a part of cricket..if someone doesnt like it go play chess...Rising above your opponent in spite of it is what separates the men from the boys.
Sledging is a part of any game. Only that it is called by names in each game. You've to accept it to play the game well. The Indian team should accept it and learn to play the game not keep complaining like kindergarten kids.
Nope...they can not be the world chaps...first picth now sledging and what not....seems the guys who were talking about Chin Music and Cake Walk realised that whe they are on mat it does not matter which sports you are in but behave as you realy are..
There is no doubt about that Aussies are World Champion, but they are not playing cricket as a gentleman. They always play for win but they never accept defeat in true sportmanship.Basically they do sledging on field to disturb the concertration of batsmen, bowler,or fielder.
