The Indian team has proved all those, including yours truly, who predicted its downfall after its bowlers were clubbed all over the park for 400 runs on day one of the match.

The reason India is catching up is because it is employing state-of-art sport techniques. This is because we have a visionary like Ganguly at the helm. Again you showed immaturity by predicting let alone the downfall. India has always managed to produce its best when the odds were always against it. Besides for the first time the Indian team went with a seamer based team instead of spinners because whenever we won abroad in the last 20 years more than half the wickets were taken by seamers.

Sydney might be the place for India to push hard with two spinners and seal the series.

Seven years ago chasing 120 to win in the West Indies a young, talented Indian side was bowled out for 81. There were five men from that team (Laxman, Dravid, Tendulkar, Kumble & Ganguly) who carried the hurt from there. Unfortunately only these five men were MEN in that young team. There were enough detractors / Idiots / coaches in the team then.

Regards
Nandu

Talk about predictions and support to our indian team, for this tour......

"With the position Australia is in, there can be only one winner in this Test, and it is certainly not India" - Faisal Shariff, Dec 12th (after first 2 sessions)

Faisal Shariff BOWLED
by Naveen on Dec 16, 2003 10:39 PM

Faisal reported at the end of the first day "ONLY ONE TEAM CAN WIN THIS MATCH AND IT DEFINITELY IS NOT INDIA" tell him to eat his words...test cricket is all about patience and if you have 4 worldclass batsmen in your side try to support them instead of acting like the aussie/english press...

WHAT A HIDDEN MIGHT !!

What a might India has in store was exposed tenaciously at Adelaide Oval ! Credit goes to the Man of the Match- Rahul Dravid,Ajit Agarkar & V V S Laxman.
Heartiest Congrats to the Captain & his victorious team.
The days are over of the fashion saying Sachin's the main axis! Indian team is impregnated with explosive gunpowder-hard to detect.
Well done! Move ahead with more gusto to conquer the peak.
