Dada don't worry.Simply get little cautious. ICC must re-think about slow over rate rules. There must be seperate rules for such kind of wet field condition. In wet condition fielders cann't run at their own pace, bowlers also cann't hold grip over ball till it is dried up.
Yes, Ganguly may be slow on over rate, but that is not deliberate and the overcast conditions are making it difficult for him. He has acknowledged the slip up and promised to try and improve upon the over rate.
As for Mike Procter and the ICC, they continue to be the racist pro white skin lot - If Procter thinks he is a "changed and more strict umpire" by handing out Rashid Latif and now possibly Ganguly with punishments, sorry, the world does not agree - Procter can only consider himself non racist when he metes out punishment to his fellow "white skin band" whom he has let off on copious occassions, without any logical basis!
The scenario has always been the same with Sourav, especially when it comes to a bad decision. Why should he be the person to suffer? The match referres have always been harsh on players from the subcontinent. They have a blind eye to players who are held responsible for sledging & wrong appealing.
Please be responsible about how you present your reports. The heading seems to grab the readers' attention but conveys a different picture inside. Insecure act.
This is yet another ploy to target Ganguly and team India. How can the players move about when the ground is wet and slippery? If the same offence was committed by Australia then Procter would have just overlooked citing wet weather conditions. If Procter imposes any penalty on Ganguly, then it is once again a blatant case of double standards. Whenever India goes to Australia its always one thing or another. Its either the referee, the umpires, the media or the lousy Australian players targetting the Indian captain and players. Its probably beacuse of these factors Australia never loses at home.(nothing to take away from their mental aggression)Its time Indians treat the touring teams likewise instead of showering them with unnecessary hospitality and importance.
Langer's behaviour of nodding his head in disapproval of Umpire's decision needs to be taken seriously by the Match Referee and he should be punished, if Procter is as strict as he is made out to be.
