'Lele' - ye le lo 'SPANKKKK!!!!! -- oouchh it hurts'
by Chaitanya on Jan 07, 2004 10:40 PM

Though his words made sense at that time, it is very inappropriate for him to come out and make those outrageous comments. But wheww!! did india give the aussies the scare of their life time. Hadn't it been for 'Buck'nor and couple of decisions on the last day of the last match, who knows, Waugh would have been remembered as 'one of the best winning captains BUT ...'

Boy, am i proud of my team. The HELL with Nassair Hussain's MORAL WICTORY. This is a victory for India.

Lele's interview
by Milind Wagh on Jan 04, 2004 04:38 PM

MR Lele is an ignoramus who is adept at shooting off his mouth. Now that we know the stage at which the series is poised with India possibly winning it, Lele should be made to eat his words and his shoes too. What a complete silly chap

Playing to the gallery
by Sumit on Dec 04, 2003 08:42 PM

Dear Mr. Lele,

Why do you have to play to the gallery? You sound like a frustrated, attention hungry chap who opens his mouth only to bring spotlight on himself... Well... what levels of corruption exist in BCCI will probably be a never ending debate like the match fixing issue... but people like you will sit on the facts and play to the gallery whenever you get frustrated in life...

Regards,
Sumit.

Kale affair
by K. Venkatesh on Dec 04, 2003 03:21 PM

It is very sad that a young performing cricketer A. Kale is subjected to 'off-the-field bowling' which obviously he cannot handle. It seems only truth is longing. If somebody would be rich enough to pay 10 lakh rupees to play for the national side after good performances, the fault lies somewhere in the system of selection. Whether we come to know the truth or not, some internal rumblings that sent this controversy out has put an effective speed breaker on a budding cricketer's career.

Lele's interview
by vrkalyanakrishnan on Dec 03, 2003 06:55 PM

This interview clearly shows all is not well with the Board Officials and Selectors. Instead of suspending Kale, Dalmiya should find out the truth. He should not have just gone by what More and Roy told him. It may even be the other way around - they could have asked for money but Kale might have refused to pay.
