take a bow for saurav
by Ajay Kishore Das on Sep 01, 2003 04:27 PM

Its great that saurav is sorting out his probelems against short bowling. Thats acting like a true captain who has been criticised by many as a incompetent one. But in my view he is the greatest captain after Kapil. so guys take a vow for saurav.

It seems that finally indians have grown up. Instead of just blaming sportpersons for their occasional failure they are praising their hardworking nature and exceptional capabilities

hat's to ganguly!!!
by abhishek on Aug 27, 2003 09:14 PM

Hi,
i agree when you said ganguly deserves praise. May be it has become a trend nowadays to always look for a downside of a person, and write all the negative stuff about him, but while doing so what we forget is that we all are human being, and bound to do mistakes. Hat's to ganguly, for doing in what he believed. He made the indian team look like a team, and not a team which only replies on one person to carry the burden. Its he who sacrified his opening slot to let sachin do the job. Being a captain its you who has to support your team members, and itsb no secret how much he supports the youngerters in indian, and we all have seen what they are capable of. Bouncers hmmm may never have been a cup of tea for ganguly, but he has realized that there are many ways of dealing with it, and now he is seeking the advice from chappel. I am looking forward to meeting with indian team when they come here to melbourne in december.

panickers senseless comments
by nandu on Aug 26, 2003 11:06 PM

Really we should panic regarding comments of panicker.I don't know how each and every useless fellow like panicker is commenting on Indian team.Going to australia doesnt mean ganguly is good .And he is striving for good cricket. He need to score against quality bowlers thats going to start of his motivation, unless he is stupid and average cricketer.

Atlast some coomon sens eprevailing in prem's articles.
Good job done.

you are always critical of ganguly & his captaincy & his style of playing.

Yuo termed him an arrogant and some interestign words.
But today I apprecitate your article.

Ganguly have a problem . no doubt in it.
Its good that he realised it & working on it.

Mr Jai Hind,

With all due respect to your hockey emotions, this is cricket. What are you doing reading cricket articles looking for hockey comments ??

Total agreement

Absolutely Prem couldn't be more right! Saurav works hard except for that period of self-denial! Or else he couldn't have come out for wilderness for four years and hit a century on debut. Any other cricketer would have given up after 2 years!
I am sure he will be a better batsman after his stint with Greg Chappell!
You Aussies, we are coming at you!!
