I think Bedi has gone senile - its very easy to blame the captain. Mr.Bedi himself had a poor record and was an average captain, in comparison to which Ganguly stands out streets ahead - at least he backs his players and gives them full support, unlike any seen before him. He may not be a Steve Waugh or a Stephen Felming in terms of strategy, but accept it, right now he is the right person for the Indian team - he has been able to induce a sense of purpose in the team members and also an unquestionable strength of bonding.
Thanks, Mr.Bedi, your time is up, may be you should focus on improving what you are good at - the spin department - let us see how many good Indian spinners you can coach and produce - take that up as a challenge, will you? The new world is all about less talk and more results - lets see how good you are, Mr. Bedi!!
Why is bishen singh bedi hell bent of making a complete ass out of himself, i mean at every given oppurtunity he says something outrageous and totally uncalled for, ok so we lost the final , at least we got there, and whatever goes on within the team , it should remain there, i don't recall any such scrutiny during bedi's playing days or he might have found himself in the middle of some dubious decisions......why is this tendency with us Indians to always look at the glass as half empty, ok so saurav said he moulded the team ...is it not a fact....he never said he selected them, he moulded the team given to him into a fighting unit...and bedi should appreciate that instead of making a mockery of the little respect left for him...... he sounds more like a frustrated old man craving for the limelight....grow up...or rather age gracefully mr.bedi.......
I think people like Bedi should talk a little less than what they do. He is always complaining.Whats the problem in his life with the indian skipper . We have seen many skippers , no one good or close enough to Ganguly. We are proud of him . Mr. Bedi , watch your records before you talk big.
