If the intentions are not good..then how come the result could be...their intention was not to play for nation they were mainly interested in teaching paes a lesion. they call them selves professional players and when it comes to nation their ego scores over national duty. I know I should feel bad for loss, but I don’t feel so, may be because there is a lesson in this for the future players…had they won wrong precedent could have set.
Morons who are commenting here with their half educated Indian intellect need to know that Mahesh and Paes never won a single medal in Asian or Olympic games despite playing so many times together. Don't blame Mahesh for trying something different. the result would be the same with Paes and Mahesh as a team.

Do u think u r a brilliant guy? Dont u know the issues made by this guy just before the commencement of this event? They (paes and mahesh) might not have got any medal before.. But he should have to consider national pride rather than his cheap ego. Anyway, he has paid the price for his words. He insulted paes. He could have withdrawn from games if he cant play with paes. But what he did really shows his narrow mind.

Why should he withdraw from the games if he doesnt partner Paes ? Are you out of your mind ? Does Indian tennis revolve around Paes ? Mahesh can play with whoever he feels comfortable with because that's his best chance of winning a medal. He played for the nation and for medal unlike Paes who made a big deal out of the issue as though they have won medals whenever they played together but they never won a single medal.

Because olympics is about the country and not to pamper your individual ego. Because Paes won an olympic bronze. Because Mahesh Bhupathi does not own the tennis arena in India and yes because paes is definitely a better player than bhu- potty

Then why was he desperate to partner Bhupathi ? It makes no sense when you play so many times together and still lose because the team is not clicking and yet you want to play together ?

Mahesh can play with whoever he want. But it should not be for nation. It should be for any private match...

Paes forced to play with Vishnu Vardhan that too Paes accepted to obliged. If atleast Paes can win two matches with his low key partner it is more than a Olympic medal

He will..but the problem is Sania Bhabhi...Who was the Only to not Carry Indian Flag during Inaugration..
Olympic medals are for playing for the country and not for oneself. You did not deserve even first round win. Now come back and continue your politics here in India

Dear Hesh, Please don't be a pessimist. We know that you are disappointed; the reason being your 7 month honeymoon with Bopana did not pay any dividend. You are now totally dejected and telling the media that - "I guess I will have to die without an Olympic Medal........" Never mind; we, 1210 Million Indians will pray for you so that almighty will be in your favour and you will win a gold in 2016 Olympics elderly group of tennis players (above 40) doubles with Lee. So, don't fight; start practicing with Lee the moment both of you are back from London.
