The girl rock band got threatened because Indian media made it a big issue.Had Indian media kept mum facebook pages against this rock band would have done nothing.Just an irresponsible journalism!

Maybe the girls are safe because of the media. Quite possible that they would be quietly killed and no-one pays attention. The girls quit because they know their society better than the media.

And if media had kept mum and those girls were killed by your Islamist brothers then you would have saved Islam from getting bad names !
What good rational thinking could come out of your Madarasa education ?

So why did the idiotic Mufti and all sundry clerics claim that the girls performing on stage was a threat to Is1am?
We are witnessing a very dangerous trend. Unless we nip it in the bud these kinds of fatwas will keep blooming. Any idiot who feels even remotely offended by something can go ahead and issue a fatwa and the spineless will bend over backwards to appease them. Let's put an end to it right now. NO more fatwas in India. Let the law of the land prevail, lest we become another taliban nation.

Wonder why she didn't have an Imam onstage for blessing her Prince when annointing him officially at the Jaipur Circus?
Isiders say the Imam had discussed about the Fatwa with 10 Janpath & only then issued it publicly. He's being considered for the next Padma award for taking Indian culture a step forward.
