What is there to be sorry about? They were not talking about Mr Thackeray. They were just just restating the popular feeling on how everyday life is affected by large number of people demonstrating for some reason or other! Now the situation is becoming so oppressive that no one can express their views!

U see Indian people are emotional. If something happens somewhere say Pune, Kashmir, Chennai, Gaza, Burma, people do strikes. For what no one knows.
Guys lets not go personal. I've lived in maharashtra and marathi people majority of them are simple living and friendly- not aggressive as quoted. Like there are class and type.. one in the class of sachin tendulkar, ambedkar people with high thinking and polite. other ones belong to rakhi sawant category.. the shiv sainiks too fall close to that category but lets not generalise they are fine but still i find them less patriotic which is fact and more state oriented because for anna hazare national campaign some 200 marathi people were present to boost anna and some 10,000 marathi manoos ransacked my name is khan film theatres.. this is fact.. they r nice but what should i call .. selfish

don't agree with your views. Its clear ur r against Shivsena because of ur relgon.
You can't term them less patriotic in comparison to other Indians. Peoples r either Patriotic or not. And all of the Indians when its issue of India are 100% patriotic. E.g. Cricket Match of India, only Indians are support India rest so called Indians support neighbors.
else u will have to close ur account like the two heroines did. these heroines thought that tiger is dead we can do whatever we like but tiger is immortal.
Shiv Sena came to fame because it was seen as Shivaji's Sena. Many Maharashtrian Maratha's felt proud about it and all of them ensured that it came to power in 1995. But what Bal Thakerey did? He made Manohar Joshi the CM.
So whether one is CKP or Kokanastha or Deshastha all these belong to one group the B-h-a-t-a-j-i (B-r-a-h-m-i-n) group. They will make each other big and keep the masses down.
This is happening since centuries. What is RSS doing? Same things that Manu propogated. The masses are getting fooled day in and day out in the name of Heendootva. Who gains - these 3% B-h-a-t-a-j-i-s.
So, the masses should understand the working of these 3%. The Gawaskars, Manjrekar's, Shastri's were after Laxman for his retirement, but when it comes to Tendulkar they keep on heaping praise - No mention of his retirement.

Poor Prachi. You cuold not digest the sea of Humanity who attended the funereal procession of Balasaheb Thackrey. What ever Gavaskar, Manjrekar, or even Tendulkar have acheived is on merit and not a gift of reservation. People like you will neither understand Thackrey nor you will understand hindootva.
It is ironic that Constitution & Law is being quoted and mis-quoted with regards to this incident. To my mind the Constitution grants equal status to all citizens. Hence if the same laws applied to arrest these girls were to be applied to Bal Thackeray during his life time then he would have spent most of his adult life in jail. By SS theory only Maharashtrian Mumbaikars have tender feelings while Biharis, South Indians and Muslim are thick skinned hard hearted people
All were not so active and media was not so sharp when similae case of arrest reported when chidambaram son complained for bloger and he was arrested in similar fashion?
