I do. I wrote a message earlier on this board. Nuclear melt down is horrible and you cant repair nuclear reactors very fast means you are without electricity for many days.

If you get out of your bed, you can slip and fall in the bathroom. So is it a good idea never to get out of the bed?

Dont make foolish analogy. Tsunami and earthquakes are unstoppable and no rocket science can safe these plants from natural calamities. Natural calamities are not equal to falling out of bed or falling in Bathroom.

lol. Tidal power can not be generated overnight and Tidal power turbines too cant withstand Tsunamis. Japan has very limited resources and they dont have any option other than going nuclear but we have. we have Solar, wind, hydro and tidal energy options wide open and need to be tapped by just consuming same amount of money which we are planning to spend for nuclear energy.

Because these buildings are built to stand earthquakes and their construction is special. In India no buildings are made to withstand such powerful earthquakes, we dont design our buildings that way. We design according to Adarsh procedure laid down by Adarsh UPA and Maharashtra govt.

NATURE'S WARNING SIGNAL
by Raghu Nathan on Mar 12, 2011 01:28 PM

Japan's tsunami and earthquake disaster is a stern warning signal / message given by nature to the selfish mankind - to accept the supremacy of nature's power, be humble and not to attempt violent intrusions into its territory! Man's intelligence / great scientific inventions are absolutely no match for nature's fury / retaliation.

As per guardian the issue is not solved and workers at plant are at very high risk of radioactive exposure. Control room has 1000 times more radioactives than that to normal. Workers are working in shifts but they are on very high fatal risk. However officials are denying major radioactive disaster but little leakage is not ruled out, infact its unavoidable.
