with 30 years of experience a teacher, government servant, at 60 judges at 65 supreme court judges are to retire. But politicians have no age bar, no law to check their national plundering, inability to eliminate poverty even after 60 years in power can rule the country?

You understand why the country has gone to dogs what more those species can do?

The only way to make all these politicians think of retiring early is to make the job as unattractive as is possible particularly the financial benefits. You will see a huge line for retirement. Also all final decisions must be taken only by a committee and not the minister alone. This committee should have at least 50% ordinary citizens well read but picked at random......

paul theo, it is ModiAndRSS who are responsible for Sudan being divided into two also!!! Of course NicholasSarkozy got inspiration from NarendraModi for banning the BlackVeil. Even the BombBlast in aChurch inEgypt on the NewYear'sEve was carried out by theSanghies. TheseSanghies are indeed a dirtyCreed.

"at a formal dinner in Japan, Bush became ill, vomiting on the Prime Minister of Japan, then fainting"

"There is an interesting photograph of Reagan, taken in 1996, that shows a visible sign of his Alzheimer disease"

Nehru's dismiisal of the first elected communist government and the description of Jinnah as secular leader in his visit to pakistan are examples of action guided by old age.

should they only die and not leave it to youngsters to manage the affairs! lee of singapore retired gracefully and allowed his junior to lead the city state!

I visited USA and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited LONDON and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited SYDNEY and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited SINGAPORE and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited BERLIN and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited BEIJING and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited STOCKHOLM and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

I visited AGRA and saw Indians and Pakistanis live there like brothers and sisters.

why cant Indians and Pakistanis live in brotherhood in Indian subcontinent ITSELF, strange isnt it ?

question is of ability. when one is sent to retirment for getting age of 60, then how a CM or PM can run a state or country at 80 / 90. are the super god! our young people do not have the capacity to run the administration! again the older ones have sons and grand sons and great grandsons n daughters and multi-relativez to give something before last breath and to put them before the queue to lead na! we all are fool so follow also can not help.

Why politicians are Out of the world
by mohammed ulhaq on Apr 12, 2011 01:57 PM  | Hide replies

If politicians can do lot better with their experience in making up of the country then what about other sectors. This is applicable to every sector including military and Air force. But in reality it is different. Every other sectors have retirement because young generation should get an opportunity where as these dumb politicians refuse to give away their position for betterment of the country and always want to see India with same lens for about 50 yrs now. This entire system should be revamped to stop corruption and dont let any politicians to stay in politics for more than 1 tenure of 5 yrs. Does anybody in this country knows the purpose of BA politicial science in colleges ???

Retirement age of politicians
by srideb ghosal on Apr 12, 2011 01:51 PM  | Hide replies

what a system we have. govt. employess retire at 58/60 yrs when they are considered old enough to carry on duties properly and our politicians take country on their shoulder even at 70, 80, 90 - where do they get this huge energy man that we general people can not. Possible they see the apple before mouth and run with energy to grab. If question of replacement of employment to young ones arise then why young ones can not get high political posts. If it is experience, a youth can get it from them to go ahead. Then why old people man. They have been power hungry which also bring them fortunes and we people allow them to be our boss with bald head, toothless mouth and greed.
