just consider mumbai as a highly fertile land which supplies food to the entire nation..now what migrants are doing..they are filling the fertile land, doing illegal encroaching..making fertile land dirty...so now whats the impact..it is making the highly fertile land which feeds entire india interms of heavy taxes and revenue which mumbai provides to central govt. down to dust...rather than improvising we are downgrading our developed territory by putting extra pressure on its resources..indirectly we are making the situation unsustainable for mumbai...and mumbai is coming down..because it resources are getting spoiled by so called migrants....that is what our dear balthackeray should say..rather than vandalising!
USA is No:1 country because intelligent people from all over the world have come and contributed to the society there.Similar is the case with Mumbai where talented people from all over the country including industrialists,lawyers,doctors,engineers,artists,etc have come and have and are contributing along with their Maharastrian brothers and sisters to make the city what it is today.Such irresponsible statements from Mr Thakeray will put other lacs of Maharastrians who are working and contributing in other states in India in awackward situation. Has Mr Thackeray ever thought of that. I think he is taking the people of Maharastra for granted.I do not think he can ever fool them .

An absurd comparison with USA and the intellects from USA - not accceptable. What Contribution? Its the Industrialist, lawyers, doctors artists,etc who have benefitted more from Mumbai and in return what the workers get is abuses, workload, tension etc for a paltry salary.
Mumbai is exploding because of over population - talk on this subject instead of going as far as USA.

u r right but ur stand is right against Foreign nationals... not indians residing in india. Thats the difference. In USA person from CA can settle in NY and there are not Thakreys...

Not even US person after migrating within US can do illegal things. If you do illega things in US, justice is very fast. You will get punished severely.

agreed boss. You are 200% correct. but dont compare a small city like Mumbai to a country 7 times bigger than India. Where 100 crore people r ready to migrate anytime to Mumbai just for the Bollywood dreams. I suggest take Bollywood to UP or Bihar. Thats a nice solution. Or even to Delhi will work. I know that the Big B and SRK will be the first one to oppose this move.
Everyone misses the grand point, yes Mumbai cannot stop anyone from coming here and earning a livelihood. But have you guys ever wonder why there is slums all over, so much filth and poor infrastructure compared to other metropolitan cities in India. Do you enjoy living amidst this pathetic conditions. How will we counter and upgrade the facilities if there are millions coming to Mumbai everyday. Because of the steady influx the old inhabitants Mumbai cannot enjoy the benefit and amenities of having a comfortable lifestyle. No wonder Mumbai is called as Slumbay and it is a dirtiest city in the world. What answer do you have to the above. Would you allow any other cities like Patna,Bhopal,Bengaluru,Chandigarh to degrade like this!!
Thakre has gone old and in old days people sometime satyajate hai. So dont give any value to this man. Yesterday he say Tendulkar to stopand remain to his height and now he say he Bharat Rattan for 100 crores indian. If he of 100 crores indian how a land or city can be owned by on Thakres or Mumbais. . Thakre is irrelevant and media should stop his publicity so that he passed away silently. A person who cannot love people of god is NO MESSIHA.
For god's sake stop it, stop this discussion over a silly topic. This is silly because it is anti-human, and people like us are getting affected badly, as i said life is very beautifull, live it in proper manner for betterment of every one/every body, all humanbeings/ animals/nature as a whole and every thing...spend your time for reading good quality books, get knowledge and spread knowledge this is what life is meant for.
