true..at least we can see the cultural difference, which is predominant in south india, where mughal culture was ineffective. Women are less harassed, people are more disciplined. Even though muslms stay there side by side of other communities, they remained peaceful and progressive.

You can also add TN, Kerala & Karnataka.... Nizam was very cruel to people of Telanga when he was in rule......

Orissa is a tribal majority state, so its lagging behind..otherwise orissa is pretty peaceful(of course with general indian 'freedom' of not abiding by any rules).

My dear friend, do not go by the history they teach you in Pakistan. It is often distorted and fabricated by Paki admin to suit themselves. If India was given Prestige by Muslim rulers, then Pakistan must be sitting on the top of the prestige mountain as Pakis have systematically annihilated all its minorities. But it is at the bottom.

Our monuments have "Survived the islamic rulers encroachment and demolishing" - rascals who came on horses and asses had nothing to build and everything to destroy. But they all including Shah jehan eventually got killed by syphillis.

Indian are responsible for this we Indian are becoming more and more greedy and self centered now a day we love in making fun of others but never look at ourselves
Pakistan and India should learn from European Countries, how they fought during world war and see how for progress they have made European Union and working together.

PAKs reluctance towards good educational system, religious intolerance are major obstacles for the perfect picture u mentioned. Moreover PAK is such a country, had it been neighbour Finland, Fins would have been facing all the problems we do now. PAKs neither they live in peace nor allow any one else to do so..
