in 1962 war America was ready to even nuke china to protect india from it`s aggression. that is the reason we are in free india now . now things are chaged a lot . china just can not attack india. india is a nuclear power now having capability to reach china`s main land. we can only hope that the present govt.( being out of Left`s fear ) may able to protect us by strenthening our armed forces to match chinese Army. one thing for sure if china attacks India it ( china ) has to pay a heavy price for it and it may start of World War III.

Indian military will surrender
Indian military is very weak becoz of corruption and political manipulation and lack of experience and ego on the top hierarchy. They want to continue to enjoy the privileges and perks without actually fighting. The nexus between weapon agents, politicians and military top brass will ensure their own survival by immediate surrender.

After taking over India, Chinese military will shoot Indian Communist leaders, leftist Intellectuals, Mulsims terrorists, human right activists and gays. Becoz China has no use for these.
Whether attack through Tibet into Arunachal is a wise option for China is debatable. Though terrain is hostile, initial/ first movers advantage lies with attacker, and will definitely seize sizeable portion of AP. India has almost forgotten loss of Akshai Chin, any attack will awaken her of this loss, and may result in gaining international sympathy/support. Are politicians awake or counting votebank for nxt election?? Military be better prepared, coccentrate more on warfare and less on GOLF

international sympathy/support is absolute imagination. Everything is decided by UN security council, in which China is a member. If UNSC try to plan any action against China, they will simply veto it. There is no such privilege for India in UNSC.
AUM. No one can say for sure that China will not attack India in the near future. Will the story of 1962 be repeated? May be, may not be. Of course, I agree with Bharat Verma, writer of this piece, that theworld recession has caused extreme social tension in China. I may add that the Great Divide between rural and coastal urban China is increasing day by day. The rulers of China realise this but are helpless. Of course, the Communist Party will go on tightening its control. That is the way Communist social order functions. I am not sure if China will attack India in 2012. As of now, China is in a global competition with USA. China is making an endeavour to be a world power. Since China is a focussed country ,she will let USA be in sight for cut-throat competition. An attack on India will be an avoidable deviation from the AIM. The Chinese people are known world over for selecting their distant aim carefully. Once they select an aim, Maintenance of Aim is their next goal. Finally, all resources have to be employed for achieving the selected AIM. The Chinese people have a historical record for mobilising MANPOWER. No other nation in the world has mobilised manpower to such a gigantic level as China. The GREAT WALL of China is a proof of the capability of mobilising manpower. China will be doing all that for the soul aim of competing with USA and leaving the Americans behind to assume the crown of a Sole Super Power. what u guys are talking about china's navy is already Indian ocean(read last weeks news papers though they claim it that they are regular military exercise)and now some part of misoram is already occupied by china,,,these matter's are just not in NEWS.

U think Chinese Military won't have corruption. If China attack, one thing is for sure, Indian Army will fight like hell. Its not for nothing that we are the best trained Army in the world. On top of that, we Civilians might not feel it but patriotism flows through army's blood.

Dude, when a terrorist is hitting from a height & u don't know where he is, it will take a week, maybe more. That is gorrila warfare. Even the Americans in Vietnam could not survive it, nor USSR in Afgan. But if China attacks India, it will not send in 2 ppl. It will send in numbers. If I throw a stone at ur house at night and run would u know who I am. Try searching me in a radius of 1 km. Dude think before u blame.
Also dude do not confuse civil fighting with military fighting. N if u r so ashamed of Indian army u can do one of the following:
1) Ship urself to Pakis or Commie China
2) Join the Indian Army & try to get the inner prospective.

Manoj you are are rather hasty in your comments. Dont underestimate sacrifices of thousands of brave soldiers in Sri Lanka,J&K, North East, Kargil and 3 wars with Pakistan. Corruptions are part of India, but young soldiers especially officers have never let you down in battlefield. Yes there are good perks but every day 4-5 jawans are getting bullets in chest / head. Why dont you join Army and face bullets, and harsh weather away from family, rather than whinning

I'm not talking about any soldiers. I;m talkiing about the NEXUS BETWEEN POLITICIANS, WEAPON AGENTS AND MILIRATY TOP BRASS. Go to Delhis Defense colony and see the 5-star bungalaws where these people stay.
Due to these peoples power, soldiers cant do anything against them

manoj...if you where in their shoes you would do the same....stop blabbering. It is guys like you who are useless. I strongly back the Indian Army and do believe that they can give tough resistance to any attack arising from anyside of the world. China wouldnt dare to lift a tiny finger against India coz they are sure they will get a befitting nuclear reply and that is not something that any country would want to have.
This article is rather stupidly written and is not in touch with present or future, its deep rooted in 1962. India by all means is capable of defeating almost all countries expect USA and Russia. With the internal crises in China, it doesn't look like China is strong enough to attack a mighty India. India has had its share of internal problems but it is emerging stronger than ever. China has become too ambitious off late without proving their mettle. They are day dreaming of being super power, they are planning to replace Dollar with Yuan etc, I think its overzealousness on part of China. China is on the real axis of evil, they support North Korea, Pakistan. India currently is playing its card properly and I am sure it is beyond China's capacity to even think of such stupidity as to attack India.

the weapons will be only Chinese make, but made from designs copied from other countries like USA, RUSSA, UK, Germany,Japan etc. that why Chinese are dangerous.
