nagesh no more

In Tamil Cinemas, MGR, SHIVAJI, GEMENI GANESH, NAMBIAR and NAGESH are known to one and all for their acting talent. Nagesh has joined the other four today. Nagesh was very well directed by K Balachander. Nagesh dramas were very good and were really heart touching. Time has come for him too. A well deserved actor, but somehow in tamilnadu in the latter years he was not recognised due to tamilnadu politics and some of the political fools. . I PRAY TO THE ALMIGHT THAT HIS SOUL REST IN PEACE.

R MURALI
BANGALORE

Hard worker
by chandra natarajan on Jan 31, 2009 01:57 PM

He is a real hard worker, he came to field as a very ordinary comedian and in the end turned to be a very impressive character artist, truely deserved a Padmashri than this hyped up fellow Vivek. May his soul rest in peace.

Nagesh as a commedian
by Praveen Aaron on Jan 31, 2009 01:55 PM

It is very sad to loose a performing artist of His caliber. He was an outstanding comedian and an excellent actor. Though we lost him here, we can still find him safe in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ when we as belivers meet at His feet. Hope to see him soon !!!

a great lose
by vijaykumar on Jan 31, 2009 01:55 PM

Being a lover of Tamil cinema no one forgets the comedy mastero nagesh for his applausing act.a sensible, non-vulgar comedies were his trend.
a trend setter after NSK and thangavelu.
a great lose for the tamil cinema.watch his latest performance in Dasavatharam, a man can rightly fitted for all roles.
don't forget his classic acting in "Magalir mattum" a dead man's role .i think no one done that type of role in cinema world.

Srinivasa Rao
Late Nagesh Ji
by Srinivasa Rao on Jan 31, 2009 01:51 PM

In the passing away of Mr.Nagesh, the film fraternity especially the tamil film industry, has lost a comedian par excellence. An actor with amazing sense of timing his very presence on the screen used to send the audience into splits. He along with Manorama and Sachu gave out some marvellous performances. His character of Dharumi in Thiruvilayadal can never be forgotton and the scene where he keeps bending backwards during his one to one with Shivaji ganeshan will always remain etched in memory. May his soul rest in peace. Truly a great loss.
