When Muslims do not accept hindus or hindu philosphy, as hindus are kaffirs, condemened to burn in hell and also when a lot of poorer Indian workers are mistreated in the Gulf States...by receiving less salaries than other races ...why should india be the bridge between gulf and Islam...Indi is better off backing Israel

This whole forum has been hijacked by hate mongers. Rediff should shut it down. I dont have enough patience to report abuse against both muslims and hindus by fundamentalists.
I think the extremists from both sides should acknowledge the fact that they have more in common with each other than with the vast majority of the rest of the population.
They should just fight and emasculate each other's ranks so that the rest of us can live in peace and bring up our children in a non-hateful environment.

Ram Ram Bhaiya... Have you accepted your fellow Indian Muslim brethen? Seems to me you are as hateful toward them in general as you claim they are to Hindus. It all stems from illetracy on both sides. HIndus and Muslims lived in India side by side for 700 years, under Muslim rule. If Muslims hated Hindus so much, and had retorted to something like the Gujarat Govt. orchestrated Riots, there woudnt be any Hindus left in India. Think about it. Akbar found 'Deen e Elahi' - too all the best teaching of all religions. Appointed Hindus to high posts. Partition of India was dark chapter in history, and I wish it never happened. But then again how could the British keep control of the sub-continent. In their final parting they played their final game that they were so good at (divide and rule). Anyhow, I could write a book on all that but brother, all ppl from all religions are treated badly by SOME of their sponsors. And open your eyes Israel will only use and abuse India for its own intentions. Like it or not Indian Muslims are/were and will always be here as an inherent part of India, trying to make positive contributions amidst the discrimination they have faced over the past few decades. India cannot afford to have a population as large as them to be generalized, demonized and ghetoizzed. Think about it. Hindustan Zindabad.

Because India should be more mature about all of this stuff. Indians are highly valued in the middle east. Believe me, I lived there for over a decade. Also now that all that diaspora has become very wealthy and influential and have the ability to bring in more investment from India, their value has only risen. Also, like it or not, India is surrounded by muslim countries and has a sizeable islamic population of its own. These people aren't going anywhere, and for all you fundamentalist idiots who want to institute ethnic cleansing/ extermination/ pogroms should realize that this will realistically never happen. So India might as well rise up to the challenge and attempt to bridge this gap in order to bring a solution to global problems. Not only will it be beneficial to India itself, but doing so will automatically propel India as a global leader.

Just look at the way people from kerala are treated and look at the poor construction workers ...not the blue collar workers as they are needed...log on to Amnesty international or human rights for poorer people in the middle east
