i hold no brief for javed akhtar. but he is dead right here. the song is trash.
also someone has commented on gulzar versus javed akhtar. i maintain that javed akhtar is a far far superior lyricist.

First of all, those who wrote, composed and sang this song are not claiming it to be a literary classic or a musical masterpiece. In fact they have openly said that it's craz y stuff.

Now, let's come back to our 'sensibilities police' Mr Javed Akhtar. This is the same man who criticised Gulzar's work and said they were rub bish and had no ‘meter’ and that they would not qualify as poetry. It's the same Javed Akhtar, who wrote many classic songs with great aesthetic sensibilities as:

This is the same man who criticised Gulzar's work and said they were rub bish and had no ‘meter’ and that they would not qualify as poetry. It's the same Javed Akhtar, who wrote many classic songs with great aesthetic sensibilities as:

1. Din g Don g Don g Din g... Ek Do Teen

2. Dard -e- Disco

and the best of all,

3. Meri laundry ka ek bill. Wow! What a classic! Here is a sample from that literary masterpiece of Javed 'saab':

Meri Laundry Ka Ek Bill, Ek Aadhi Padi Novel TaRaTa TaTa (REPEAT)

Ek Ladki Ka Phone Number, Mere Kaam Ka Ek Paper TaRaTa TaTa (REPEAT)

Mere Taash Se Heart Ka King, Mera Ek Chandi Ka Ring

Present Mili Ek Ghadi, Pyaari Thi Mujhe Badi TaRaTa TaTa (REPEAT)
Meri Jeb Ka Ek Packet, Meri Denim Ki Jacket TaRaTa TaTa (REPEAT)

Do One-Day Match Ke Passes, Mere Naye Naye Sunglasses

What a song javed saab!

He not only slams the lyrics of Why This Kolaveri Di song, but also the music. If the music was so bad and was an insul t to people's sensibilities, they wouldn't love it so much, do they?

Don 2 ke gaane ekdum flop ho gaye! Kya isliye saheb ko gussa aata hai?
