we have enormous talents in the industry with great singers and look at this guy singing this song. they could have given this song to a play back singer to justify. its totally rubbish as Akthar said.

The music is catch, words are simple and interesting, it is a huge hit all over India and we need to accept the fact that many like it.
don;t see the reasons on why it is a hit song. It is just one of the junk songs. The reasons for more hits is a different story. There was an Email chain going on requesting users to click on this song. My friends clicked 10 to 20 times on this song. It was just an ordinary song. Just because it is a tamil song doesn;t mean it has to be super hit song. Even the words used in this song are very cheap and substandard words
It is just that a very small section of tamils tried to hype up this issue.
but c'mon, reacting about it in such strong words is very unnecessary....if he's reacting to this....he should have also called "Baby you're my chammak challo" an "insult to sensibility" sung by a dude who's nothing without "autotune"
lyrics are too hyped...people listen to songs because of music..not lyrics....that is why a song like "jai ho" became popular globally even though no one understood the lyrics...its becoz of great music that songs work

Dude Akhtar saab has the habit of calling a spade a spade and if you try to understand what he writes you would say he is one of the greatest of the modern day lyricist.

akhtar saab is only reacting to it so strongly because criticising a tamil song in no way is going to affect his career. he wouldn't dare go against any b'wood wallahs.
it's nothing to do with his habit of calling spade a spade.
