It has been doing it for donkeys years but is hushed up through an agreement. why... ofcourse because creating awareness is the first step towards converstion, Interet, decision and action are the subsequent steps. Hey dont you live around here.. There were DDLG,KKHA,... and many other block busters after that...Sholay is a blockbuster but there were many other which you forgot to mention
These films clashed at box office because these big actors who are being paid so many crores doesn't understand their resposibility towards audience. They just sign films for money & frindship without exploring the subjectivity or storey. They make people come to see them with big banners. Actors like Akshay & Abhisekh are doing 5-6 movies in a year out of which only 1-2 clicked at box office and this gives them publisity to fool audience in other movies. That is why they are not superstars like SRK & Amir who at least value our tickets.
now a days indian films are like ROBOT ,non living things, no life at all. few days back i saw the movie bicentennial man,back to back.though movie about robot, they infused life in to it.we need more satyajit ray , girish kasaravalli , adoor gopalkrishan.

saif is not a star...he is just a b grade actor. just bcoz he has money and has power to produce he gets movies and also bcoz of bebo.
movie makers like anees bazmee are better than sanjay bhansali...atleast they deliver what they promise...they make a masala movie...2 hours of non stop fun...atleast they dont spend crores of money of producer and make a disaster like sanjay bhansali.

coming back to the main discussion....KHJJS flopped as it was not promoted well at all...the promos looked like the keyshade patriotic movie...i blame the produer ashutosh gowariker for not promoting his movies well....even swades he didnt promote well as a result of which the movie flopped although everyone has loved the movie...but could not be a winner in BO... Action replay was a pathetic movie....i just couldnt watch it beyond 15 mins...its very badly made and vipul shah has proved that he is a medicore film maker...he should only make gujarati plays and step out of bollywood....these guys think that people are fools and they can make anything and it will sell off...basic problem is in Bollywood 98% of the people want to earn money and fill their kitty without giving the audiences a good movie...

forgot to mention about Guzaarish...SLB should now become a art director in hollywood...he will earn lot of money and fame too...he has bascially a liking for showing sadness, disability with irritating humour and he will show christanity in it...i wonder what attachment he has for christanity......in his movie....first come first...script is not that good and one doesnt feel bad for hrithik...story doesnt move u...although performances are good enough....still u need a good script and direction to make it a success...instead SLB concentrates on the silk curtains and bedsheets and hrithik's suits and furniture. the movie is flopped and its not a surprise at all...infact salman khan was partly right in his remark for guzaarish.....not even a dog came to watch it..Mr. Bhansali only stealing scripts from other story writers wont help...u need to have a vision to make a good movie...not good just good sets :)...ask leela..she will agree to me :D

See the recent tamil movies such as Angadi Theru, Myna, Kalavani, Nadodikal, Subramaniapuram, Eeram, Poo etc., produced with small budgets with new faces set a new wave in tamil filmdom.
These above mentioned films are box office hits.
In fact the much talked Rajni film Enthiran (The Robot)is a financial failure. Distributors and theatre owners lost heavily.
The films which made in reasonable budgets with good screenplay always wins.

dude ur mistaken....robot has had a weekend collection of 54 crores and the 2 week collection was 200 crores...rajni's movies can never be flop. infact i am surprised u being a madraasi and ur talking this way for rajni sir.

In bangalore these film theaters were empty, bcoz of the release of new Kannada movie"SUPER". Its a must and should watch for all these bollywood stars and should see how the story should be. This SUPER movie is directed by UPENDRA after a long gap of 10 years, this 1 movie is sufficient to beat all the telugu,tamil and hindi movies. Dont mind this film will be dubbed in telugu and tamil also.
