God i dont understand these so called critics...times review was totally oop of rediff review...and have given 4 star rating...and also that Neil is the best in the movie and its opp here...these reviews are really confusing
I think raja is more awestruck and is only interested in movies which have smooching scenes, a love story a couple of fights and a some skin revealing songs...he is some one who think movie is a medium of entertainment that too only with some music and sex...
Raja grow up man!!! Certain times movies need to be bold and direct...some thing like Kabul exp and Dev D.
I don’t think u should comment on acting...john with his height and body...and a dumb look...dude...when things go wrong and then to worst and when u r in a situation u have never been into...then we will only have dumb look...its not the SRK or chiru of telugu or momooti or any one who can bash up the US police come out of the jail, catch bin laden and prove their virtuousness. Try to understand the reality

Pathetic .......that's what the review is for New York...... Story is very weak.....certain cinematography was not at all required.......acting was very "on the surface".....making a fuss of such a sensitive issue as 9/11 and at the climax was the stupidest possible.......specially the final dialogue of Irfan Khan was so pathetic and useless.....just for the heck of it. Just a small piece of advise to the Yash Raj banner......please do not copy Hollywood substance into Hindi films without doing justice to it .... like all the FBI stuff etc.......................there are lots of sensitive issue to deal with in India itself. Poverty, Hunger, rape, dowry, child marriage, racism...........please deal with these in your next ventures........and also do some justice to your banner.....

This is a hopeless movie and Raja Sen has been gratious enough to give it 1 Star. Such a sensitive issue needs proper actors and a compelling screenplay. The treatment is really pathetic.
Shocked to see such a review for a movie very well done. Its been a long time in Bollywood since such a serious topic has been well portrayed with little fun, masti and also good message to take home
