People here once again are doing what they did in Aarushi case. Media comes out with some non-evidence based stuff and people react in frenzy. All here are very nice people who never committed any crime. At least allow the allegations to be proved before showing your holier-than-thou attitude!

Very shameful thing for a star? Its not shameful if it was not a star who had done that? The act is shameful, be it a star, be it a commoner or be it god almighty.

Then how can Shiney's wife start coming out in media? The poor maid doesn't have any spokesperson for her.
Lots of Bollywood personality started giving him certificate. Bur poor maid doesn't have support, even from so called NGOs.
Even its a consent sex, the way his wife is accepting it, looks like they all sex addict and do not worry about others to fulfill their fantasies.

i agree. is the polics aed to open their mouth while the matter is sub judice? it invokes media trial and adversely influences the judge.
Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry said authorities beheaded a Saudi man convicted of molesting a child and leaving him in the desert to die.
According to a ministry statement on Sunday, Falih bin Miflih was beheaded in Unayzah town in Al Qasim province.
Saudi Arabia follows a strict interpretation of Islam under which people convicted of murder, drug trafficking, rape and armed robbery can be executed - usually with a sword.
According to an Associated Press count, the execution brought the number of beheadings in the kingdom this year to 42. Last year, 102 people were beheaded.

Great justice! Who knows how many of them were innocent. Please stay in Saudi if you admire this medieval justice.

This is in reply to neelima post. She thinks that in Saudi Arabia it is a jungle law. If anybody does capital crime they just catch him/her and chop their heads. Please understand it is not the way you think. The criminal goes under rigrous trial. They collect witnesses based on solid proof. It goes to Supreme Court then finally it goes to the King for his signature. The King then tries to check if victimes family agree for forgiveness and if not then the beheading is taken place.

Your all Islaamic countries are great. They treat woman and criminal alike. A man can marry even six years old. What a law?

The joke may seem funny... but are in poor taste.. they are harsh to both the maid and Shiney
What was Mahesh Bhatt doing there? Trying to destroy the evidence !! Its is known that he is partial to the Shiny Ahuja and shouldn't have been allowed there..

Bhatt was trying to save Ahuja's Butt..... Or he was just trying to make Shiney talk in detail on this subject; maybe a new script is on the cards.
But has'nt all the evidence that is required for the case been already acquired, or are the courts waiting for somethnig else?
It is time the court judges were adjudged on strike rates. I mean the girl is there, the medical report is there, the guy is there so what exactly are the courtsw waiting for - are they some archeological findings!
The judicial system in India is a charade and skewed blatantly towards big shots.
Now I do not know what the truth is, but all the media channels showing the accused's wife in a sympathethic light, implying as if Mr. ahuja is incapable of commiting lewd crimes is pathetic. Why not show the plight of the accuser's family. This imbalance in coverage is like moulding public opinion. If the courts feel banning pre election opinion polls is correct then why allow this media defense or attack on cases sub-judice.
On 2nd July, Shiney Ahuja would get a bail and the media would cover how he has spent his day and ask him question about his 'ordeal' in the police jail.
The girl would be forgotten and in a couple of months would take her case back saying that she is delusional and had a crush on Shiney. She is sorry and Shiney would forget and forgive!
Its not the politicians but the courts that are lethargic. They cannot decide in time. Whether it is a benefit of doubt or a conviction.

VERY WELL & PRECISELY SAID. BUT YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN TO MENTION, HOW MANY PEOPLE, IN POLICE & COURTS WITH GET RICH, AT THE COST OF THE POOR MAID.
NCW Chief Girija Vyas is convinced the maid was raped. She played the judge, jury and executioner for Shiney Ahuja and condemned him as a rapist at a press conference on Friday.
Ans I thought police supposed to investigate, obtain evidence and present them to court. Court is supposed to decide on the merits of the case and in the light of the evidence presented to court by the police and defence. Press is supposed to report on the proceedings of the case and general public can have whatever opinion they have without any bearing of such opinion on the judgement. Or I was just dreaming about the civic society?
