Courts are to blame
by Zaki on Jun 20, 2009 12:16 AM

But has'nt all the evidence that is required for the case been already acquired, or are the courts waiting for somethnig else?

It is time the court judges were adjudged on strike rates. I mean the girl is there, the medical report is there, the guy is there so what exactly are the courtsw waiting for - are they some archeological findings!

The judicial system in India is a charade and skewed blatantly towards big shots.

Now I do not know what the truth is, but all the media channels showing the accused's wife in a sympathethic light, implying as if Mr. ahuja is incapable of commiting lewd crimes is pathetic. Why not show the plight of the accuser's family. This imbalance in coverage is like moulding public opinion. If the courts feel banning pre election opinion polls is correct then why allow this media defense or attack on cases sub-judice.

On 2nd July, Shiney Ahuja would get a bail and the media would cover how he has spent his day and ask him question about his 'ordeal' in the police jail.

The girl would be forgotten and in a couple of months would take her case back saying that she is delusional and had a crush on Shiney. She is sorry and Shiney would forget and forgive!

Its not the politicians but the courts that are lethargic. They cannot decide in time. Whether it is a benefit of doubt or a conviction.
