AR Rahman's background score and acting of kids esp Jr. JAMAL are marvellous apart from anil kapoor, everything else was as normal as our bollywood movies. But overall this is a good movie to watchout.
One may not agree with the opinion established in the article, but the style of writing is entertaining. I specially liked the comparision with 70s bollywood films, brothers are reunited by tattoos :)

actually it may deserve more than 2 stars but he is right in saying that this film is gravely hyped....there is nothing tooo great about the film to go to Oscars with 10 nominations. Rehman's music is also good but not extraordinary to go to Oscars..I found the film quit normal and not exciting or interesting
No ONE has any right giving away movie plot turns HOWEVER stupid the movie might be. That Raja Sen gave away RACE ending because he thot it would make viewing better. If they know so much about movie making, why dont they make one themselves! Informed opinion they call it. Bah!
Who are these reviewers? What do they do? AFter a hardworking cast puts together a movie, they come out with their pencils sharpened in a AC cabin to say what worked for them and what didnt. Who bloody cares! We do. Therefore a reviewer should not be allowed to predict or affect a movie's financial returns. BAN reviews for two weeks after the movie release date. Its just not fair to the producers who cant salvage anything if it is not a hit at the box office.

though I agree with the reviewer, I also agree with you that review of the movie should not be out for 2 weeks after the movie is released. Let audience decide what kind of movie it is...reveiwers many times spoils the whole excitement of watching any movie...sometimes even when the movie is good , these guys spoils it and its declared flop....i remember how K3G was criticized so much by these reveiwers, though it was a great movie
I saw the movie yesterday.I think Mr.Bachhan is absolutely right. It is a very average movie. This Hollywood people should see bollywood movies of 70's & 80's. They will give golden globe to all movies.
