Your hardwork has paid off. All along we knew you are top class material. This oscar is merely a feather in your cap. Once, a chess player by name V Anand became a grandmaster. His achievement made many other Indians to attain this goal. We now have 10 grandmasters in India. Likewise, your achievement at the oscars will inspire many a composer in India to strive for more. The seed has been sown by you. Your statement "I had a choice between love and hate. I chose love and I am here". This should be the mantra of all.
Mr. Jagjit Singh, who recently criticized Rahman, might smile reading this and say,"LuckyDog Rahman!" Mr.Sonu Nigam, who made a press statement that Shankar Mahadevan is the best music director of India also may join him. Same to those who thinks SM is his "average score".

They are right, they know more than you and me know about music, you know that there are seven notes in music. But those people are professionals in their job Jagjit sing and Sonu nigam are absolutely right. AAM aadmi ki bas ki baath nahi hain e to know music you have to practice music.
