yeah. theyve got no bloody business poking thier dirt laced nose into our dirty business. movie making in india is arguably a dirty affair. we have dagwood who pours his money with elan - and we have guys like anu malik dancing to his tunes or shah rukh or salman, mahesh butt or manjrekar waiting for a morsel from the goon. picking/ flicking tunes from all over the world has evolved into a fine art - preetham/ bappa/ bappi et al! we claim other countries' slumdogs as our own! yeah yeah - its very dirty indeed!
but nevertheless. Wb has no stinking business to fish in troubled waters. why ? the moment they enter into the business, they turn worse than dagwood! look at the US entertainment industry. plagued, rigged and infested with the RIAA/ MPAA.
Please dont take this article from Raja Sen seriously as he is more worried for his job as because of the fear from Hollywood studios if Hindi movies stop copying that means they will automatically stop making Hindi movies. So if no hindi movies means Raja sen will lose his job of reviewing them. So he just wants to retain his job and support the hindi industry.

how abt looking at the other side of atlantic too ? its pretty murky there too. they aint no clean saints there. they've got teething troubles with revenues and suspect business models which they soon want to foist on to us.
If its an article from raja sen i dont read it, i just scroll below to the message board. I dont understand what he writes. Bollywood can spend 500 crores on a movie but could they recover it ? No if they could then I am sure Bollywood would have copied Matrix, Pirates of the carribean, Lord of the Rings, Transformers, X-Men, IronMan, spiderwick chronicles, Narnia series etc. by the way Transformer 2 arrives on July 26th and Wolverine 1st May.
Hindi Ghajini is a copy of Tamil Ghajini which is also a copy of English memento. They even copied the makeup of Memento hero for copycats Amirkhan and Surya. Shame. Shame.

memento n ghajni r poles apart...in terms of story, screenplay, EVERYTHING. only similarity is tht 'STML'. sme idiot critics jus say it to b memento remake n othrs agree without confirming even once. its impossible to make a memento in india.. newez...personally i don think benjamin button shud b remade in hindi. v don have money n techies gud enuff 4 tht kinda special effects. n repeating wat brad n cate is near to impossible yaar. Raja sen ji..y do u jus bang ur head for 'nothing so important' kind of stuff man??jus to stay in limelight???get a life dude.try to do something different good, n people will appreciate u.

Isnt that reaching a lot... Taxi Driver and Sadak are nowhere similar.. But its true the amount of films Mahesh Bhatt has been supposedly "inspired by" is huge... and somehow they manage to make a lousy remake

Sadak took the basic storyline from Taxi Driver and all the action scenes were from the Van Damme Starrer Cyborg. Only the song picturization was by Bhatt saab
