Black was not class at all. I might be one person's expression of what he thinks the story is. Before I even read Amir's comments on Black I had exactly the same view about Black. Everything seemed like it was conjured and made up. There was a extreme effort in every scene in the movie , sometimes to make a point and sometimes it was pointless. True acting doesnt let us see the effort but the results of the effort. I dont care whether Amir is right or not . WHo cares. I am not siding with anyone. But yeah I think SLB is over--rated . He is a perfect example of "lots of input and very less output". and by that means ,he is not an efficent director by any sense. Aesthetic, now that I could say, some of his technical skills seem very original. But I think he could be a good assistant to a good director , thats all. He is not a good director for a 2 hr film for sure.

U mean that if a Producer signs Big B for a film, he should give it away to the young actors. What do u mean by "give others a chance to display some real acting"?
I am not sure why people consider Aamir as a different and creative actor. He has not acted in a single movie that has been "hat ke". He does not have any movie under his belt in which his acting can be compared with Bachchan's acting in Black, Sharaabi, Deewar, Trishul, Zanjeer, Muqqaddar ka Sikander etc.. Mangal Pandey was a fiasco. Mela, Baazi and even Hum hai raahi pyar ke were all below average movies. Even Lagaan had a gripping story - Aamir did not carry the whole movie on his shoulders (just like Rang De Basanti). It's always easy to criticize. Like Mr. Bachchan correctly said "If Aamir is unhappy with this, let him demonstrate otherwise."

Oh! Oh! Don't forget Big B's recent flops Nishabd,Cheeni Kum and Ram Gopal Ke Aag. Nishabd and Cheeni Kum were both stupid,an old marrying a younger woman. U are rite that AB is a legend, I love his movies including Khakee, Sholay, Sharaabi ,Baghban etc. But Aamir is also a superstar in his genre of acting.
Amir Khan is an idiot to pick a fight with a true living legend. Amir is really a gharib in his heart to attack someone of AB's stature. this guy is a real betamij, he has always been one.

Why shiv sainiks are jealous of SRK though he gives charity to Bal Thakrey to keep his shiv sainiks mouth shut. Hindi film industry made hell of a hefty revenue because of SRK and SRK proved to very benefitted to India then why sainiks r against him.

The winner was certainly Amitabh. Shahrukh Khan overacts. Besides, his range is limited. When he tries his hand at comedy, he ends up looking like a pansy. He lacks originality and tries to ape Amitabh. It seems that he is obssessed with Amitabh and the charisma he exudes even at the age of 64. On the other hand, Amitabh is a natural. The true testimony of his greatness is the fact that today's young stars are still competing with him.
Well in the early 2000 i used to say (rather many of us who loves hatke cinema) that let Aamir n Big B pair up in a movie then it will be infront of the world to see how Aamir comes up shinning...There are flops i agree and that part of every actor but the vission set by Aamir khan lagataar in all his movies should be applauded..He thinks differently and therfore he dared to say something against Big B (the God in land of fools who have no idea of good cinema)..really Black was insensitive i also agree with Aamir Khan..

I don't agree with you...Aamir is loyal to himself...he is greedy and wants symapthy for his brothers media coverage where he and his family have disputes. His own father and others are agaist him. We don't know the truth but one thing is clear, Aamir is using Media to win his side agaist his father so what he says about Black is based on his greed about selling tickets and to indirectly relateing BLACK with his brother's mental illeness so he can look sane and not insane infront of media and public. Only fools, which are many, will not see Aamirs greedy and egoistc side. Big B is more shophiscticated, professional and loyal and intelligent all the khans put together.

I am not sure about commenting on real characters of both Amitabh and Aamir, but yes while watching "Black" i had a headache and I cannot deny it. While watching sarfarosh, RDB; I enjoyed them. Aamir is not taking on Amitabh, he is taking on "Black" as a movie which I also found to be very self indulgent and unable to keep us gripping; though there were sordid moments of emotional pathos. I can admire "Black" as a great camera movement and scene compositions but definitely not as a movie. While I can admire RDB as a movie though the scene compositions may not be as aesthetic as "Black." If we were to watch a movie about deaf-dumb-blind and watch a great movie, I would rate Gulzar's Koshish that had sanjeev and jaya notches ahead of Black. As actors.....Aamir and Amitabh are both inflappable...we all remember ACP Rathore from Sarfarosh and Vijay from Deewar, trishul etc; not Aamir and Amitabh as protagonists. What else can speak about both as great actors.
