REALLY I FEEL SORRY FOR THAT. EVEN IN THE PROCESS THEY BROUGHT EVERYTHING INTO IT. ABHI ISHMEETH SE POOCHE JITHNA PAISA AAP SAB KHOYA THAT SMS KI JARIYA. I THINK PUNJAB IS THE ONLY STATE WHICH FALL SOMUCH ON THIS.
I Think its a manipulated verdict from the most popular show : Voice Of India : which was seen by my ffamily and many more in whole of india regularly. How can you decide only on NORTH ZONE voting? where as from whole of india harshit got unbeateable lead on voting and sms?
Its clearly a manipulated verdict and to the shame tha, This was being announced by one of the legendary dancer cum actress : Madhuri dixit : and Legendary Lata mangeshkar?
Its an insult for both the leading ladies of india as well as for the people of india.
I hope your good office will clarify it publicly as judges were also fully agreable on the same.

It is still dubious how the voting percentage calculated.... while Harshit was ahead with highest percentage in 3 zones, how Ishmeet has crushed Harshit's lead in single zone.....! it's obviously doubtful to public....!!!?. It clearly shows that the result has been declared considering the voting percentage between UP and Punjab.....?!!!! and none other zones. Just to remind, at one stage Panel of VOI blamed public on faulty voting. Amending the rules (50% 50%)what they did now? On what basis they brought these two guys to the final? It clearly says that Amul Star "VOI" lost it's respect from the public (except from one leading zone. This is 100% right, pakka, confident aur lock kijiye..... Public has lot interest to see VOI, Gajji, abhi bhi aapko phir ek bhar mauka mila to convince the public thru VOI Chhote Ustad show meant for real voice not for the money making. Please do not entertain Wild Card r Veto power chances, which ultimately gives bad impression on your shows. WISHING U GAJJI GUD LUCK.

Add to doubts is that while they decalared percentage of lead from other zones, they did not declare it for the north zone.
Furthermore, if the results are true, that is only because U.P. has less regional feeling compared to people from many other states. Harshit might have lost but UP has certainly won.

You are abolutely right. This is not the insult to leading ladies of India but to all those people who voted from the South/ east and West regions of India. It is a shame. This should have been called the "Amul Voice of North India" or preferably "Amul Voice of Punjab". This is really hurting when we see such a manipulation. We feel cheated after following the program since the last six months. The winner cannot be judged by the votes and SMS by those who do not understand music but this should be decided by the judges. I am sure I and my family do not commit our time to this show in future and find myself cheated again. Thanks Shrinivas

i totally agree with shrinivas voice of india should have been named voice of punjab. total manipulation thats why poor harshit lost.......winner should not have been selected by the votes or biased punjabis.....who would have spend a lot of money sending sms to their son of the soil.....yes we would never watch voice of india again as its total farce. Joy thakar .. it is not a talent hunt but a singing game .. if you are so much frustrated .. why dont you & your family start a new show and do the rsult in your own way ..
and by the way, wait for 1-2 years and these stars (other champions of more TV shows) would be seen only in samll stage shows and shadi parties only.
The voting were not from only Punjab, it is from all the Zones of India. There are many artist in India, who's talents are exception, but not known to even people other than his street.
Moden world Artists success is rated with the sale of his cassets, the box office collection of his movies, the success of his stage shows. All in monetary account. Thumb Rule is , more SMS means, that much confirmation of sale of Audio Cassets, That much people want to hear his voice. Simple as that.
Even Michael jackson is more successful compared to the Karnataka classical music Legends. The talent and depth of classical music is far away for the reach of western music. But you will find the success of western music is far away for the reach of classical music.

Yes I agree with u. Punjab is just 2.5 % of population and I saw no frenzy here (I am from punjab) and even then Ishmeet won. It is a simple case of sour grapes for critics.
ishmit great job, congratulations. ppl need to stop saying that he is voice of punjab. if a gujrati or u.p guy had won, no would say that. punjab's populations is only 7 %of india's population, so that means others voted for him 2.
i voted for him and i am gujrati, the fact of matter is there weren't any good singers on this show. they were all average. but he beat out everyone. he is the voice of india. simple is that. and also congratulations to him for winning on their firt guru's birthday.

I feel the voting was done based on his merit only and impartial.His simplicity,shyness and sweet voice and regards for his mentors contributed to his victory. dear gurveen, sasriyakal, dont think like that. i am only concerned about the injustice only,not that i have some hatread on ishmeeth dont think like that. do you know i am from andhra pradesh not even UP to tell you. i voted for all good voices in the competetion. you know gurveen whom of the two is best. no need to tell you. ishmeeth is not a complete singer yet. he need to learn. so why to hurry him to the crown where he cannot justify i fear. only thats it. also in votes i am sure harshith is leading gurveen frankly. dont take it as punjabi, sikh, hindu etc etc. it is all about real talent. do you remember indian idol winner sandeep acharya and runner up karunya who shined more? so it is about talent not about relegion or region, do you knwo harshith performed in punjab with arshpreeth there and punjabi people loves his voice too. thats good sign for him. he sings for people not for fame, thats why i like that guy alot. he is only worried about his grandmaa coz he dont know how she takes it otherwise he is very happy with what he achieved it and he told he will sing to satisfy every one who voted for him. so dont develop harshith being punjabi and encourage him as you did before by giving him shows etc. he is like all of us common middle class man. ok gurveen i love you for your concern.
I had seen many of the talent shows currently shown on many of the channels. Although the result of such talent shows been already decided by the sponsors and Juries, it is indeed great to hear so many good voices.
Lately I had suffered attending a BAPPI LAHIRI Night. Except for Bappi Lahiri ( that too for some specific songs) the whole show was not less than a imprisonment in KALA PAANI. biggest torture was to hear his daughter, Rima Lahiri..Being seated on the VIP seats just infront of STage, I was unable to ran away like others from back rows, who were moving from the theatre itself.
The only reason of such undeserving characters getting a chance to perform is because of their family back ground, or money power.
but the young childrens to many others in such talents shows, really deserve applause for their great god gifted talent. Big cheers to them.
They all won, Some won title, some won contracts, some won the heart of audience.
