these programs are big business like Lotto etc.so this was not voice of india.it was SMS of india.they all are playing with PPLs emotions and obvious mutiple reveues.so ishmeet provided them alot of business to them.and in the last see what all the participants got,and what the organiser got.fooling the stupid middle class janta....

this is absoulutely correct that these all channals who are showing this kind of compititions making fool of middle class peoples and playing with tyhe emotions of these people because they are making money in millions and giving thousands to the winners if they want to organize these kind of competions why they are asking for SMS they can make a panel of judges and let them decide the winner

i think Abhilash should have make to the final but for this regional votings good singers are out of the competition.it should be Abhas and Abhilsha in final rather than Harshit and Ishmeet. Any way congrats Ishmeet.coz punjabis from all over india voted for you
Indeed it was very discouraging to see Ishmeet winning the award as the sucess of the show entirely dependent on the voting of the North . What about the voting done by the rest of India which went in the favour of Harshit , who actually deserved the award as he had the personality and the voice to be the vOOICE OF India and who was undisputedly sailing towards the award and then boom baam crash came the voting by north . I was hoping to see and read at rediff of the result manipulation and after much contemplation its Harshit and not Ishmeet the Voice of India .. but alas ... only the best deserving one should have won the title ..
East or west Punjab is best....Punjab is best..thats why Indira Gandhi was jealous and she divided punjab on the basis of language..and made himachal and haryana. Go any where in world Punjabis r best.

Mr Sohi...........who told you all this bullshit......east or west punjab is the most biased people who do not give credit to talent but only to the fact that ishmeet was a punjabi...........well he is a good singer but harshit was the best and it was only due to you biased punjabi mundas that a punjabi has won not on the credit of singing. Harshit had a special masculine voice against ishmit's feminine voice then how could he be rated voice of india.............you biased punjabis would have voted day and night spending a big amount sending sms just for the bias of making ishmit win................you punjabis think you are only ones who are indians rest are either.........sala bengali.....sala madrasi.......sala UP bhaiyya..........and so on always ridiculing all the other indians ..........this is not punjab my friend this is india where all are indians and not just you overconfident biased arrogant punjabis........so just shut up and come down to earth. Ver true Punjab is the best becoz it has low sex ratio as girls are killed inside the womb, has unhealthy dowry system and it doesn't have capacity to accept criticism. That's the reason why the judges of VOI were threatened so that they make IShmeet win the crown. He is not even fit to be the slippers of Aabhas, Irfan, Toshi, Abhilasha, Priyani and Ashpreet's feet. Even Harshit's talent was insulted becoz he had to compete with Ishmeet in the finals. Let Ishmeet rejoice his victory becoz ultimately he will be confined to Punjab and Canada only. (Canada becoz thats the place u Punjabis dominate and would restore to any cheap tactics like beg, borrow or steal t reach there) Bunch of Cheapos!

wow! do i smell something burning?? guys get over with it, I am from punjab and am glad that Ishmeet won coz i think he is way better than Harshit, but even if Harshit had won I wudn't be whining like you guys, learn to accept defeat gracefully, now don't take me wrong on the word defeat, all it implies is the defeat of your favourite singer nothing personal.Remember guys this is just the start if you think the singer you supported was more talented, he still has all his life to prove him or herself. in the end its only talent that will roll the dice of destiny

Ismeet and other singers were very talented...and when u have got so much talent its hard to chose one person and its hard to make every one happy...so leave every one alone and wait for the time to come..this contest is not the end of journey its just a stop...so lets all celebrate and wish every body luck....
We say Tendulkar is best but not every body agrees with that..some say he is not match winner or so..so its hard to make every body happy
harshit is the real winner they at star have cheated first their was hue & cry for toshi. why was he given this extra comfort. if he was out it was fine any 1 could go out its public voting & now this harshit lost due to less voted from his own region its rubbish. cheating needs mind application but organizers of voi dont have this .. harshit is the voi. he is no matter come what may he is a star..
My personal feeling is that the results were manipulated and Ishmeet was declared the winner. I agree with Suryaprakash that the participant, organizer, sponsors etc. were Punjabi and so a punjabi won. Ultimately the audiences were fooled and cheated.

agree.....this talk about regional bais is quite immature....maybe such progarms should be stopped till the audiences are mature enough to accept and appreciate talent on the basis of talent rather the region/religion that one comes from.....
Unfortunately with the help of modern devices like mobiles and SMS's we are promoting regionalism, communalism and gender bias and that explains the reason how contestants like Prashant Tamang from Indian Idol and Ishmeet from VOI get to win. Its totally an undeserving win, the reality shows are farce the real talent leaves and the not so good ones remain. Ishmeet didnt deserve to stay even in final four as Aabhas, Toshi, Irfan, Abhilasha, Priyani and Ashpreet are far-far better than him and Harshit is also a very talented singer and having Ishmeet as his competitor was an insult to his talent. Harshit deserved to win much more than Ishmeet but God knows what manipulation took place, even the judges were showing their displeasure and were not very happy with the outcome and Abhijeet didn't even come to attend the event yesterday as loss of Irfan was a big blow to him. If you listen to the voices of Aabhas, Toshi, Irfan, Harshit, Abhilasha, Priyani and Ashpreet and the next moment listen to Ishmeet a stark contrast will come out and automatically the voices can be judged. I remebere once Ismail Darbar showing displeasure to this faulty system and in that Indian idol one could easily make out Amit Paul being 1000 times better singer than Prashant Tamang. Infact Indian Idol should be renamed as 'Darjeeling Idol' and Voice of India should be renamed as 'Vocie of Punjab' atleast if the channel people want to promote farce then they should do it openly.

I do agree wih ur comment . The way VOI was declared is quite disgusting.The voting should be banned in reality shows. It should only be the judges who should have the authority to choose the deserving candidate.This is the third time this rubbish has been happenning. ZEE TV declared the worst singer amongst the last three a winner. In Indian Idol any one even the person with no knowledge of music would have voted for Amit Paul as Indian Idol, where as it happened otherwise. I think the by using the voting system, the organisers, sponsors and some one in between is reaping huge sum of money fooling the poor viewers. Hope a time will come when the play behind the curtains will soon will be unvieled and the truth comes out. If u ask Ishmeet who is the winner---he will reply " Ofcourse the masses chose him, just like the leaders beeing elected in assembly and Loksabha".
This is really Star TV making crores of rupees. Any of the media have dare to declare how much star TV made by looting public money by way of SMS. Poor Indians they dont donage a begger 10 rupee for food but gave away croes for the foreign channel STAR TV. Mera Bharat Mahan

what has foreign channels got to do with it ???? there is an indian channel Zee TV which promotes equally degradable hyperbole.....there is another indian channel Sony promoting this shameless circus......there are several good foreign channels promoting good programes such as National Geographic,Travel and Living,BBC News etc. have you bothered having a look at these?
Who gives a tinker's cuss if one or the other johnny won !!! these brainless contests are conducted for people who have nothing better to do but sit in front of the TV and watch one hen or the other screeching on the handful of inane channels Zee,Star Plus,Sony,Set Max and Sahara thus reducing the concept of music to a carricature.If there had been one contest on one channel such as zee tv had(sa re ga ma pa-hosted by Sonu Nigam)long back where there was one judge and the singers were ranked on their talent then it would have been okay but these days there are a glut of contests on different channels with melodrama,theatrics multiple judges and shameless fights among them and the channels use this nonsense to promote their respective wares....bunch of shopkeepers !!!....despicable !!!......those who fall for such degrading hyperbole lower their own dignity and that of music
