SRK has proved it yet again that he is india's worst old habit..... and as for Mr SLB ...dude its time to pack your bags..... you have lost it Mr SLB..... your imagination is awful... your ideas are stale and shitty to the core.... go find yourself another job..... didnt you watch the movie before you released it,....
I dont know why childrens of filmstars want to be a hero in movies? cant they get any other work? They come simply with parental influence. Just forget about who is their parents. NOt even one person is going to watch their movies. We crazy people always go by someones name rather than finding the real tallent. Why cant these people do some business or something instead of movies with their parental influence? Sawariya...none of them have a good acting skills. Movie is really boring.. Good for a good sleep. If Bansali start to produce movies with heros that are with very good parental influence, there will be a day where no one is going to watch his movies. Movie will run just because of their fathers name. ANyone watched the movie? boring...is nt it?

A film called "IYARKKAI" was made in Tamil, couple of years ago. It didn't met success. But got National award for best film. The backdrop of tamil film is a port. There, the heroine's boyfriend, a ship captain never return for a long time from a voyage, inbetween another boy, who is also working in another ship falls in love, proposes her. Initially, the girl disagree. But soon she was caught in two minds & at last make her mind to accept the new proposal. But her boyfriend comes back on a new year eve - climax

there is one answer to your first question....they don't have the will nor the wish to make an effort to find another job....why should they?.....their parents probably earned enough to last them a lifetime and a half....it is called "easy money"

if what you are stating is true.. then yes.. the movie sawariya also has the same story line. and appears to a straight lift from this movie with the prostitute angle thrown in to make the movie more dark and gloomy
%u201CSaawariya%u201D painted & presented by Shree Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Beautiful magical sets very well visualized, colorized and presented.
Ranbir and gorgeous Sonam round of applause for you. As a newcomer you both have done justice with your performances - Born Star. Salman & Rani Mukherjee best performance as always.
Lengthy first half. Second half where movie gains momentum but lacks intense emotions, sentiments, dialogues, background music to touch heart. Movie to be remember for its nighttime huge expensive dreamy sets but we need real-life daytime standard sets and crowd too, isn%u2019t it?
As director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is at his best till-date. He paint dreams and make them live. Camera work brilliant. Sometimes it reminds me watching Hollywood movie? Colors, Lights, Dresses, Make-Up extra-ordinary but is it enough? Where is the emotion? Where are sentiments? The lyrics & music is good to listen but somewhere it is not touching heart whole-heartedly emotionally.
The best performer %u201CZohra Sehgal. I salute you.
If you are creative & believe in Dreams go and watch it...

Saawariya may be a disgusting film as Raja Sen said. But I have another observation after reading Sen's review. That if Bhansali were a film critic it would be Raja Sen ! Yes, Raja Sen is as pretentious, self-indulgent, megalomanic as SLB. Look at the review- it's all play of vocabulory and showing off knowlegedge of literature. If I can take the pains to read through this review I might as well sit through saawariya. There's another review of saawariya on rediff by asseem chhabra. just compare that with this & you would know. how simple and effective is that. and this is so complex and confusing.

complex and confusing for those who can't appreciate good literature...have you ever in your life picked up an Englisg novel of dickens, collins or austen?....or for that matter have you ever read a Maclean,Forsythe or Chesterton?....I guess not.....the only books you must have picked up are the trashy Mills and Boon type

sumit if you had paid attention to what was written then you would have known that it was the "review writing style" that was being commented upon but I guess you are just plain ordinary and can't see the wood from the trees
I just returned back from the night show of Saawariya and i am yet to get over the trauma i went through in the 2 hr 15 mins i spent in the movie theatre.
I went in hoping to watch a SLB masterpiece and came out wondering what the F%^k had i gotten into! Anyway, there remain a lot of unanswered questions and most of the series of actions that happen are unexplained with a reason! The story is baseless and utter nonsense!
So if u booked tickets please cancel them and if u r the lucky ones who didnt manage to get tickets but wanted to go later DO NOT even think about it!
This movie is not even worth a watch on a free pirated DVD/VCD! May god bless the souls who already have watched it and may god give courage to the people who even after reading this would go ahead to watch the movie!
And yeah... Happy Diwali to those who didnt watch this movie! the others who watched it know what i mean!!!
