I wonder why harris is not trying hindi music. he is consistently superb over the last two three years particularly in movies like Ghazini, vetayadu.., unnale unnale. I feel Hariish music is more refreshing than Rahman

Definitely Himesh is good musician and occasionly good singer also. but he has to go long way, to reach upto Rehman height.

i pity ur sense of music..how can u ever compare rehman with himesh(nasal singer)... having said that i like himesh's numbers too but am thoughtful in my comments about such issues.
iam a huge fan of rahman too, but i feel the music is made to worship rajnikant. misic is too loud and sick hip-hop beats. shana is the only song which has indian touch. harris jayraj's unnale unnale is the best this year so far.

I agree. Sivaji is pretty average and doesn't inspire repeated listening. Unnale Unnale really grows on you. My vote is for the latter !

Yes, its true. but it is not the new case with a talented person like rehman. He can't give music according to his desire. This is the tradition of film industry, one needs to be bound within that.

I realllyyyy wonder wats wrong wit rahman , how could a genious like him compose music like this , common guys Where is "Rang de basanti" and where is "shivaji" his scores in "shivaji" and "poi" were too mediocre common... guys like bharadwaj and other tamil musicians are giving music that is acceptable ....but rahman's latest two movies in tamil ....: ( makes me cry fellaws
I am a huge fan of Rahman and love most of his music. However, his recent music to a tamil film called "Shivaji" is disappointing. I am not very keen in Tamil films or music, but I do listen to tamil music scored by Rehman. Well, I like only two songs in this album. Rest are just beaten with some random instruments and looks like composed just to suit Mr. Rajni Kanth.

Pls dont listen if u cant understand the lyrics. The music always has a link with lyrics and meaning.
If u understand music with meanig of song, u will get impressed more.

Sivaji audio ROCKS !!!! I was thinking the same like u guys (that the album is not good). After repeated hearing, you will simply love the songs. Vaji Vaji and Oru kudai are great.

The Music Maestro had performed at the Hollywood Superbowl very close to a year ago from now, so this is not his first time in 3 years in North America. And 75% of the audiences were non-Indians dancing to his ecstatic music ! Divya
