FINALLY, THE eyeball verdict on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is out and audiences have given Shah Rukh Khan the thumbs down.
Tam Media data for the first four days of KBC3, which opened on January 22, showed a television viewership rating (TVR) of 12.33. Amitabh Bachchan had a bigger opening on KBC2 on August 5, 2005, with a TVR of 19.75. It gets worse. After the initial curiosity about SRK%u2019s performance, many viewers seem to have tuned out. On January 23, KBC3 notched a TVR of 10.44 and 7.36 the next day. The show recovered to an extent on Janu ary 25, hitting 9.24. Compared to the diminishing numbers for SRK, the Big B%u2019s audience grew with each passing day. KBC1 opened with a TVR of 10.59 on July 3, 2000, rising to 10.79 on July 4, 13.64 on July 5 and 14.32 on July 6. It peaked on October 19, 2000, with a huge TVR of 26.55. Star has a defence. Paritosh Joshi, the network%u2019s president (ad sales and distribution), said the number of persons %u2018reached%u2019 on SRK%u2019s first day was 23 million compared to Bachchan%u2019s 18 million. %u2018Reach%u2019 is defined as all those who saw the show for at least a minute. TVR, on the other hand, incorporates the number of persons who tuned in for the duration. Does that mean less %u2018stickiness%u2019 for SRK? An audience study by Optimum Media Solutions supports the view that people were not sticking with SRK. Only 44 per cent of respondents watched all three episodes of KBC3, 25 per cent watched only the first episode and 30 per cent watched two episodes. that amitabh is no longer in KBC. i don't care what the ratings of KBC are but fact of the matter ios amitabh is out and srk is in. all his haters will have to bear him every night at 9 pm. keep your bottles ready to collect your drowning sorrow.

that is a good point but its all about money.....and if I dont like someone (AB or SRK) then I wont watch the show.....then TRP's go down......the show stops making big $$$.....SRK gets insecure and More people laugh at him.......so I hope that more ppl watch SRK's KBC because a rating of 7-8 is very ordinary.......just to give you an example.....I remember that old show Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi saw a rating of 9 when it was at its peak......and it had Apoorva Agnihotri in it.....who has done only 3-4 movies

if u want to know wat SRK had done to KBC thn go and search it on YOUTUBEdotCOM...u will see how many people haad viwed his show.....as soon as it hit web.....and also dont forget to read comments in it

it is but obvious that SRK is on a false propogation spree..You can actually make out from his face that he is just lieing. Since the TRPs are falling,he himself is going around telling people that he is liked... its not him but others to say that... i just cant tolerate to watch him behave so artificially on the show.and cracking sick jokes!!!

There are millions of people who say that they like SRK. If you can't tolerate him then don't watch the show. You are not doing any favour by watching the show.

its not an achievement for srk....Ab quit himself, voluntarily....and gave kbc-3 to srk in bheek...and that stupid srk cud not keep the status of kbc to where it was....pitty
Its not everyones cup of tea, to try and do something which is different from routine. what matters is the that he brings to each face.if you hate what he is doing,just blame it on your poor sense of humour

listen mam hugging ,kissing and gifting is not acting or hosting and if thats the difference he is making then he must understand that his audience is not only gals like u but others also who don't like all this show off.......win hearts but by ur talent not otherwise.....if mallika sherawat starts exposing on star plus trp may go high but still thats not talent.....where is ur sense....someone will hug u for sure....just wait

let u know mr farzi don...actors like AB don't need cheap publicity or hits......u keep on haring that he has given so many flops...may be but the point is his acting is still loved and he is still immensily popular and that is what making ur srk go red.....talent doesnt require certificates of hits and media like ur srk.....

if he is the best he shud keep mum and let his followers do it....but he is shouting i am the king...trp's have increased....start plus doing gud business......AB ki umar ho gayi hai and all that stuff.....had he been best he would not have got so desperate about letting ppl know what he is......humility is the hall mark of great ppl. AB never said any such thing throughout in his career. even when reporters go and tell him he rules he just deny that its not truth....and he did it throughout his career.....learn sth from greats like AB, sachin and brian lara

Salini, This is Raghav from Nepal. I don't accept the comment that you gave for SRK. But the fame and image is not generated by media. There is a great difference between the attitude of Amitabh and SRK. Big B is super star but SRK is a star. Reply, Raghav
