Ego & Attitude Problem
by Sohan Kumar Jha on Aug 18, 2007 12:02 PM  | Hide replies

He has Ego & attitude problem since very begning of his career. some time back he said that he is uncopmparable bcz u can't compare mukesh, rafi, Kishore & Lata, by that way he was installing himself in that league.

I think Udit Narayan alongwith Sonu Nigam is the best singer in that era.

I hope that reader will agree with me.

Thanks

U R ABSOLUTELY RIGHT...UDIT NARAYAN AND SONU NIGAM ARE WAY AHEAD OF THE EGOIST BRAT kumar sanu--IN MY OPINION HE AT HIS BEST IS AN MIMICRY ARTIST WHO TRIES TO SING LIKE THE GREAT KISHORE KUMAR

Totally agree with you Soham!
Udit and Sonu are defenitely the best singers of today.Sonu has such versatality reminiscent of the legends of Mukesh,Rafi&Kishore.
I feel other than them
Shaan
Kunaal Ganjawala
Kailash kher
Raahat Ali Khan&
Zubin Garg are doing great!!!

Kumar Sanu may have dominated the playback singing scene for the first few years of his career because of his voice somewhat resembling Kishore kumar. (Although his voice had some resemblence with Kishore Kumar, he was no where near to Kishore da in terms of singing skills!). However, singers like Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam are much better than Sanu in terms of versatility and singing skills and have since captured the market. In addition, singers like Sukhwinder and more recently Kunal Ganjawala and Kailash Kher have also added variety. These singers are better and have outdone Kumar Sanu (and deservedly so).

I do not agree with you. In spite of the fact that Sanu resembled Kishore, he did sing many melodious songs in his original style. While Udit and Sonu songs look stale after you hear them many times, Kumar Sanu's songs never become stale and even look fresh when heard repeatedly. Aashiqui, Dil hai ke maanta nayi, Saajan are the few examples. Ganzawala, Sukbhir and Kailash Kher sing well but their voice never sychronised with any of our present heros.

mr.shetty

He sung relatively songs easy to sing and even made mistakes on that...tyhe error in his voice was made up by BGM. I am sur that sanu will flop if he's given a song based on raga. and your op[inion that sonu's and udit's songs are stale..it's your perception.

Agreed. and one must also remember that sanu sang most of his songs for nadeem-shravan. better composers like anu malik, ar rahman have preferred udit's and sonu's voice over his. all said and done the new breed of singers.....sonu, shaan, kk, kailash, etc....all deserve the praise and popularity that they have got....

Agrreed Sanu is Egoistic and makes some yak comments because he is out of work. but guys if you take Hindi cinema music, its incomplete without Sanu da, he was the most prolific singers of 90s. Some of his songs of aashiqui, saajan, DHKMN, deewaana are immortal...
