Hi everyone, this is SRK from Karan Johar's office. I am very sad about the north-south fights going on here. Dont forget that we all are INDIANS. Ok, I am playing as an Indian Hockey coach in my next film amd it is going to be released in August '07. So I kindly ask all the true indians to watch my film 10-20 times as much as possible. So that we can beat Sivaji by this year itself. Bye. See U in the theatres.
It is a very sad thing that some people aren't civilized enough to understand it is not funny to abuse somebody. The worse thing is how rediff.com is milking this North vs. South thing to improve there readership. I think if such irrational work continues, rediff.com should start banning the ip address of the miscreants or disable the discussion board feature itself.

Being a big Rajinikanth fan my opinion about the superstar may be biased but i don think anyone can argue with the fact that he is still the second highest paid actor in asia only second to the man who very much like rajini mixes comedy and action may be at a diff level - Jackie Chan.
Besides the point all i wanted to say is everyone is entitled to their own opinion no doubtin that, but at the same time why do we get into the trip of this looks so fake or he/she has no acting skill. For crying out loud its a movie and the bottom line is we watch movie to be entertained and not otherwise.
Lets not even try and agrue if A Particular actor, actress would click in Hollywood/Bollywood/Kollywood or elsewhere rather enjoy the movies that are dished out in our country (remember that we produce the most number of movies in the world in a year).
I may be digressing from the topic here but if u all recall there were actually two or more hours of airtime spent on justifying whether the characters in the last karan johar film were right in what they did. There is no denyning the fact that we Indians (as a whole North, South, East and West) take our movies and cricket beyond the normal levels of seriousness. Wouldn comment on sport but as a whole My perception of films is take them as masala potboilers meant to entertain - why cant we leave it at that rather than discuss the same and try to either justify defend or negate someone's performance.
I know i am gonna contradict what i just said but If you all remember the last killer combination of a brilliant director and the superstar i am talking of the movie Dalapathi which was a blockbuster in its own right, the superstar did get many an accolade for his stellar performance in the film, so did a Big B in the movie Black with another performance oriented director who actually got a decent job from even an Aishwarya Rai so i guess its a team effort. But finally meant only to entertain us!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rajini is too good in doing comedy, his style attracts kids and it would be entertainer and all family members can sit together and watch Rajini movies. Kamal movies are quite different. It would be either full comedy movie, full action or full message giving. Rajini's Chandramukhi has completed 700 days though it is remake and had come in Malayalam and Kannada. Mohanlal and Vishnuvardhan have acted beautifully but Rajini had pulled audience all over the world
