Hey, no body is looking at the simeple plain fact.
There is a big difference between Davinci code and Fannah. In Davinci code, the church requested Govt to ban the movie or give a text before the movie. The govt of some states obliged, some did not. The church did not start talking law & order in their hands. Church did not force theaters to stop screening. It did only what is lawful and constitutional. If there is anything wrong there, is with the state Govt. which tried to please the christians. Where as in case of Fannah, the Govt did not Ban, but people are taking it into their hands and stopping the show, burning themselves. So one is lawful and peaceful where as the other one is unlawful, dadagiri and not peaceful protest.
There is another bigger difference between the two. Davinci code suggests that Jesus was not God and many other things that are against Christian belief and then somewhere in the corner it is told that it is a fictional work. So the movie can be hurtful to some part of the audiance (I am not saying that means we have to Ban it)Where as, Fannah is not a movie against Gujrat or the Dam. It does not hurt the sentiments of Gujratis.

Its really sad to see that irrespective of india moving ahead in all field we still have prejudice about certain things. people should show more tolerance and understanding of situation.Its hypocracy to stop someone's view....why do we than talk about democracy...etc.Fanaa is a very good movie and people who are not watching are unfortunate.The public should have the guts to come forward and help reduce this vandalism.Shame on those people who are creating this trouble.
I am in Ireland(A Catholic Country) and we don't have any problem with Da Vinci code here. What's the problem with people in India ? With Fanna episode, type of aotucratic rule in Gujrat is exposed again.
Come on guys put yourself in similar situation where in you are displaced from your home and property. Forget the community aspect we are all human beings. Amir's comments focus on rehabilitation only and nothing else as publicised in Gujarat. No one has the right to stop the progress of a state but the victims should be given justice by rehabilitation. There are a section of people think they can decide anything and force it on others. why dont this poilitical parties look after their own things than getting into anyone's business, like who watch which film, whether its Gujrat or Andhra or Kerala. They forgets that we are living in a democratic country, and every citizen got a right to have a say on any issues.
