Hi, Though it is a little tough to choose characters for a immortal classic still i wud like to think that for Jay's role Abhishek is the right choice and SRK cud do a good job as Veeru. As for Basant's role Rani wins hands down and Tabu/Vidya Balan would revel in Jaya Bacchan's role. Thakur can be played by the great Big B without any probs and Sunil Shetty can fit in as Gabbar.
I would like to suggest Ramu to mould the story a little bit and create greater scope for the new Thakur b'coz thats the way for BO Success these days. Thanx, Soumitro
