Black Marketing in Real Estates
by balkrishna wete on Feb 19, 2010 12:05 AM  Permalink

A married couple/ one family/ an individual having more than two residential property, should pay prohibitory/considerable property tax, so that they do not contribute to speculation of prices. In New Mumbai, you can clearly see more than 50% of the flats though new are empty moreover almost 10% are on rent.

In Mumbai, except for builders in Navi Mumbai, real estate developers take more than 30-50% black money from the flat purchaser. It is big money going to the underworld, corrupt politician and organised criminal syndicate. There has to be a government valuation in each area and transaction cannot be done below that valuation

Income Tax Exempt
by Rajesh Shetty on Feb 18, 2010 11:58 PM  Permalink

Do away with Income Tax completely with immediate effect. People can bring their money from foreign accounts (read swiss banks) into the country by paying 30% tax to the government. The amount of money that comes into the economy will sustain it automatically.

consumption tax equally important to income tax
by parvin jain on Feb 18, 2010 11:16 PM  Permalink

Govt must consider consumption tax prior to income tax.scarcity items should be heavily taxed
and bulk items should be exempted from tax.It will effect in the same way as income tax theory.
Because scaricity items will be more used by rich and bulk item will be consumed by ordinary
people. It will be the real and more effective
taxation system.the remaining deficit may be
coverd by other tax systems.

Legalize Corrpution
by Yogesh Upadhyay on Feb 18, 2010 10:52 AM  Permalink

Propose a market based solution to corruption. Legalize it. Legalization will bring in competition among babus and we know competition drive prices lower. Widespread competition will commoditize corruption services to a point where it will not remain USP of a babu. At this point, they will beg to provide solution to a consumer and will promote their services with buy-one-get-one-free, or simply money off discounts. Legalizing will also save shitload of money spent on trying to control corruption. These savings can be passed on to the tax-payer, who in turn, can start allocating her/hir monthly budget toward corruption expenses as well. What an idea, Sirjee?

Introduce the Concept of Cost to Govt for Govt Employees.
by Indian on Feb 18, 2010 09:45 AM  Permalink

Sir,
Pls introduce the concept of Cost to Govt for each of Central/State/Public sector Govt employees.Once implemented review the performance of employees on Quaterly basis/Six monthly basis/yearly basis. The slary shall be based on 70% fixed and 30% varialble based on performance for DGM/GM above level. The job gaurantee for these employees should not be there and they should be subject to removal in the event of poor performance. This will bring efficiency in work force and any loss will be accountable to these gentlemen.
The ploce men should be given a better salary with a clause that in the vent of any corruption charges proved they will have to pay half of their cost to govt.
Judicial refoms need to be done.
Last but not the least the political interference in police should be avoided. There should be a national police commission to look into the police reforms and a national police chief to be in place.
