The news that Tata Nano will be avaliable for booking form April 09 gives me pleassure & deep pain. I being a resident of WB can not forgive Mamata Banerjee for the removal of Nano factory from Singur.

r u one of them...she did it everything for blo0dy politics...not for the common people of WB, can you imagine the revenue loss, job loss and development loss,,,,have u seen the cities like Jamshedpur,Lucknow,Pune,Dharwad and Dehradun where Tata Motors operate...the peole live in world class facility...WB was deprived of such a colony.....poor people....thanks to Mamata di...she has no mamta towards her own people,....
Now, already Nano fetch the market. Modi will be going to get more advantage, becauseof this Nano. Nano is very simply getting more market/advertisement, because of Mamta Banerjee. So, the credit goes to Mamta. Any way Keep it up. Best of Luck

Great to hear this resilience from Tata's in less than a year from such a set back from a morons lead state... Bengal will repent their whole life for this .. but wats gone is gone... but I think they deserve this and it was bound to happen today or Tomorrow. They just cant thin their good... only they know is dirty politics, bands & hartals so they dont have to work.
Now the proud NANO will come out and whole India will be proud except those hiding faces from West Bengal.

Well no harsh feeling for Bengal... but Even the ruling party was waiting for Tata's to go out so they can put all blame on Mamta ... just because leftist a so much greedy of power they allows all the rule breaking and unlawful activity in Bengal to make people happy .... its very evident in Bengal. I dont knw why people are mute spectator and dont do anything its such a loss for them

buddy, the price of the cooper and volkswagen is in the engine, transmission not in the outside design. you can come up with a good exterior very cheap. just look at existing cars and draw it up..any talented person can do it. Also remember design fee is a one-off amount so it will add maybe .001% to value of each car

Dev, hope you know that you cant make a copy of existing designs. it will be against the copy rights..Nano is not that bad looking..

Reddy gaaru.. who said people are not buying TVS 50.. TVS 50 (and its variant TVS Champ) is one of the all time best selling mopeds in our country.. I am not saying Nano will rock or flop.. all i am saying is everything that is cheap need not be inferior than the costly ones. No body would buy Indian made cars??? most of the foreign brand cars are in made in India nowadays buddy...Guy who cant even spell flop properly is commenting on an world class attempt made by an Indian.

No people are still buying TVS50.People till buy maruti for more than 2 Lacs.Just old fashion and just 800CC engine at over price.Then why not NANO.First see the NANO car and then comment.
