Seconds CAR sale market has to match price of Nano, otherwise they will loose the market for small segment cars. Better we can use Pakistan to dump all used vehicles, let them enjoy.
If the same car was made by White people in some western country it never used to cost so less. The same is ture with everything that is western(From computers to electronics goods to software to Automobiles). I remember Nokia 3310 cost Rs.22000 in the year 2000 because it was designed and produced in western countries/Japan. Once they started maufacturing these goods in China & India even the middle class people in developing countries can afford this. Nano is a perfect example. Except few inputs from foreign compnies like Bosch, it was completely conceived, designed and build by Indians.

you forgot to mention women, handicapped etc. what a crap high time for india to come out of this reservations
In these days of global meltdown, nano will sell well. People have less money now,so they will go for this low priced car. Even Americans should buy this car. As they can not do without a private car,they are expected to buy nano. But Tatas should sell them at somewhat higher price.Otherwise Yankees will undermine the value of this car.
When all over the world govt are making efforts to reduce traffic and pollution, this car will create more problems. Anyway Indian middle class does not need car, it needs better school , colleges and Hospitals..
