Congress focus on aam aadmi: Govt
by Rajesh Kumar on Feb 16, 2009 03:11 PM

Very rightly said, Congress focus is on Aam Aadmi and it is going to screw Aam Aadmi left right and centre. It is Aam Aadmi which is crying for its mistake did in last election by voting for Congress.

Rahul Gandhi achievemnt is that he enters anybody's house and make them realise look God has come to your house. Poor are pressurised for making home food and then money is paid, deal is done. best way to bribe voters.

Because, party loves Aam Aadmi so much that he continued dying blast after blast in 2008 and party was thinking of its vote bank. It was Aam Aadmi which protected these goonsin white when Parliament was attacked, but then Afzal is served Biryani. A nationlist Jammu wala was beaten for separatist valley wala.

Budget
by Prasad Vemparala on Feb 16, 2009 03:10 PM  | Hide replies

Now a days every thing is like election speech. President's address and now Budget.Congress has been ruling the country for the majority of the years and today if there still poverty that there are millions of the peoeple dont get daily food and shelter.
The people in the villages used be better. Now under liberalisation the only jobs you can get are Bar waiter and Bar dancer.
When you dont have the guts to use the defence forces even after asituation like Mumbai attack, waht is the need for increasing the defence Budget.
Most of the Defence Budget goes to the Swiss banks as we see plight of the poor jawan.
If you dig out the properties of all the Congress people over the last 60 years you will find how much they massed the wealth.
Just like a doctor needs patients for sur vival ,these people need beggars for votes. you buy votes in the election eve and loot the country for next 5 years. The media is paid up to do trumpet for the Budget.
It is a shame if this party comes to power again.

Your mention of poverty reminds me of a management book named "What they don't teach you at Harvard".... A Harvard graduate joins a firm for internship and within one week she was able to come up with a plan to improve the productivity by at least 80% within 2-3 months. She goes exstatic and speaks with the manager of the firm and explains her plans. Manager says, "I know its possible to do that. In fact I can improve the productivity by more than 100%. But if I do that in 2-3 months my manager would expect me to outperform myself again in the next quarter. What would I do then? That's the reason we keep underperforming but still get rewarded for improving it only bit by bit".

If you apply the scenario for poverty in India. 5 yrs is more than enough to eradicate poverty from India no matter which is the ruling party. Every party has got enough intellecutals and beaurocrats. But what after its done. What else can they promise you to do? Definitely there are things after that but its not certain if the people would get convinced. Its always better to work with proven formula that is say we'll eradicate povery 100% but acheive only 10%.

Even if it is the logic 105 reduction in election since Independence should make this country with out poverty. I believe the other thing. You increase the poverty so that you have an opportunity to reduce it. Right now for the last 60 years this is happening. I dont know when the second one will happen.

Even though I don't any softcorner (whatever that means to one) to any politician or party, we have to agree the situation is not as bad as it was in '60s or '70s. 10% reduction in poverty every 5 yrs sounds like an exaggerated figure. I ain't no economist or sociologist to be accurate with my numbers. 10% was a figure of speech to tell that any government acheives only 10% percent of what they promise (You again gonna complain about my numbers? he he he)

focus on AAM AADMI
by ss sk on Feb 16, 2009 03:08 PM

There is no focus on AAM AADMI. There is nothing about AAM AADMIS' shelter MAKAAN ?
Still having a makaan is distant dream for aam aadmi. What govt. will do abt. it? nothing.
b'coz Reality sector is strong and our netas require their money always.. half of the politicians gets money by grabbing the land as admin. is in their hands and they manipulate according to them, otherwise ordinary person even dont even know how to register his own land so forget about the purchasing the other land. Land sharks are mostly having political clout or say they are politicians. so there is no hope for any relief for aam aadmi and still having a decent living room for him is distant dream.

Everything revolves around ECONOMY...Once this gets into shape, every budget can be made a delight to common man....Unfortunately the entire World is going through a tough time and one cannot expect more wonders with the budget....Even if your Bhajaapa comes to power this will be the same case...You don't agree ? ....Go back to the election manifesto they made 5 years back when they were in power...They did nothing when they were in Power...They are repeating the same things like Ram Mandir, Swadeshi-Videshi Marmalade, etc.

Even today they (BJP) don't have a blue print or a plan as to how they would counter the ECONOMY...All they say is they will, how and when are the questions that are unanswered by them...Its better Congress comes back to power and streamlines all the roles to youngsters of the party....
