Hi Malliaka, after reading this i feel you should see the other side, today men are most danger zone, they don't know when his wife / DIL or Bhabhi will walk in to police station and lodge false complain agaist entire family, You must have heard of 2 months old baby got accused in false 498a and JMFC had given her AB, you also have heard about latest bhopal case where mother in lwas was accused in false 498a and police had raped her in jail. Why 98% of 498a cases haven't any convictions? Take my words Woman empoverment is not to kill men and his family, Woman empowerment is about education, social responsibility, respect for husband's family and so on. it's cetainly not about egoism, threating, abusing old sick parents, abusing laws and worse cases i would like to let you about kausar the girl got married 11 times and every time she filled 498a agaist hubby and took money.. is this woman empoverment? 1) Just a simple complaint of Dowry harassment is enough for the police to arrest the accused. (Whereas even in a murder charge the police are bound to investigate the prima facie before they can make any arrests.)
2) The accused is proven guilty until proven innocent.
3) The case is not compoundable. 4) Can ne filed decades after divorce 5) Can be filed even if no dowry was taken 6) No Punishment for misusers of law 7) Case takes 8 years for conclusion 8) 98% is the cases are false according to the center for social research ( a govt of India body) .

Women are gangraped in police stations when they are detained and the Naional Commission of womnen keeps mum . They are hpowever active and their chairperson flies all the way to Mumbai to work with the so called abused maid who we are sure filed a false rape case to extort money . The country has a ministry for animals , but no ministry for men who contribute more than 80% of the countries taxes . Women;s organisations use dubious methods to collect data about womens deaths and suicides to present staggering false numbers , numbers like 70% women face voilcence at homes .
