It will be most unwise to have Dr Karan Singh as Foreign minister due to his fragile health. We can certainly find somebody young and dynamic suitable for the job.
Mr Mukherjee, do you have any knowledge of economics or Finance? What is your qualification? Any Degree in finance? Its a shame on Indian people to elect leaders like these who donot hesitate to demand any portfolio they like, as if that is there own property. If Pranab can be finance minister, why not Lalu as he has already proved his worth being the Railway minster. Time has come to ammend the constitution so that qualifications must be made mandatory. Like somebody must have worked as an I.A.S. / must have completed masters degree in institutes like IIM/ should be an economist/ Should have passed C.A. at least or any degree that qualifies candidates for the post of directors in any large public/private sector banking/finance institutions plus relevant experience at least in there respective states as finance minister. Or else we must get ready to put our money at somebody's hand who donot even know how to calculate simple interest.

Pranab Mukherjee ( 1982-1984 F.M.) he was rated as the best Finance Minister of the World according to a survey of Euromoney magazine.[3] His term was noted for India not withdrawing the last US$ 1.1 billion instalment of an IMF loan.

Ok Man, where did India stood in the least of developing countries at his tenure? What was the FDI in India? what was the economic scenario of India? These shrewd European/American magazines just flash names of leaders who has bebefitted there own country during there tenure. If India was poorest among the poors during his tenure how did this fellow got amongst the TOP 5? are you just a blind supporter of Pranab or just happens to be Bengali?
Mr. Karan Singh just fits the bill. He is highly respected, honest and remains well posted on international developments. He is the right chice for the important portfolio however, we hear that he is not keeping good health of late and age is also not on his side. The job demands efficiency and lots of travelling to many countries. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has done a wonderful job and rightly said to it this time around because of advancing age. Let some one tell Mr. Arjun Singh to look after his grandchildren rather than spoiling the HR ministry. We feel the ministry of external affiars must be entrusted with some young and knowledgeable person (no not Anand Sharma- he is there by default as he happens to be close friend of Sanjay and Rajiv). How about Throor? I think he will do right justice to the high profile job with his huge knowledge and persona.
PM from BJP Finance Minister from Congress Home Minister from Shiv Shena Foreign Minister from Trimool Congress Petroleum Minister from SP HRD Minister from RJD Aviation Minister from AIADMK Minister of Industries from JD Minister of Minority from BSP Minister of Railways from BJD Minister of Law from Independants

FOR THE BENEFIT OF FOOLWS when Pranab Mukharjee was fFinance Minister MMSingh was Governor Reserve Bank. Pranab is no way less qualified to be the PM of India than JL Nehru. He is one of the few Cong guys who opposed family rule of Nehru -Gandhi well all these chamchas were licking the feet of young Rajiv Gandhi. This Sardar from Pakistan was appointed Governor Reserve Bank by Pranab Mukharjee and was appointe finance minister by Narashimha Rao. He does even mention his name and is too busy licking the feet of Italian widow. I am sure this Paki origin will lick the feet of some Souoth America or East Europian street walker if and when Rahul decides to marry. That is the dark side of this pak born Sardad

Mr Krishnamurthy/ anybody who support Pranab please kindly tell me , what is the qualification Pranab Mulherjee. Forget about the past when anybody could have benn made a minister. In this Era when India has Got a lrge number of highly qualified Professionals from banking and Finance why should we compromise for somebody less qualified? Just Pranab didnot support Gandhis/ politician doesnot fit him the post of finance ministry. If he has got such qualification, he should get that portfolio.
