BJP has to be aware of one danger - Pratibha Patil is expected to be totally biased towards the Gandhi Mafia , given her indebtedness for such a big favour done to her ( considering her shady background and incompetence ). Even if there is a remote possibility, this is the day Mafia will extract their 'pound of flesh'. She may provide Gandhi family an unfair advanatge by giving her the first chance to form the government and as we know opportunistic parties will flock for money and posts. It may turn out to be be a shame and a black day for India's democracy.
The BJP needs to take it easy. When everybody predicted a win for Vajpayee, did it think that everyone in the media is biased against the Congress?
Anybody can emerge the winner. That doesn't depend on exit polls. Exit polls cannot influence the results, if the BJP is indeed winning. So this allegation of bias is futile.
How closely the exit polls predict depends on how truthfully the voter gave feedback to them, apart from the statistical correctness of the models used. Even in the best case, the models have a probability of reflecting the results, no certainty. Moreover, if the voter tells the media that he voted for UPA after having actually voted for NDA, obviously everybody would get it wrong. If that is the case, Ravishankar Prasad should rejoice in the cleverness of the BJP voter, instead of carping about the bias of the media.
Uttering bullshit is the birthright of BJP member. could they not wait for another 40hrs to hear about their timing of last rites ? BHARAT JALAO PARTY HAS GONE MAD BECAUSE POWER HAS ILLUDED THEM FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

And what exactly is your impatience to make these comments? Could YOU not wait for another 40 hours to see if it is "the last rites for the BJP" or "the egg on YOUR face". Suggest YOU practice what you preach others. Off course it is entirely possible that you are suffering from an extreme case of Verbal Diarrhoea and had the urgent need to evacuate!!! If so sympathies are with you for your misfortune.
Surveys are western concept where there is more or less two to three parties in election fray and their surveys are not so complicated where more than 50 small or big political and regional parties are there. Secondly the data they accumulate are not authentic where the samples collected may be saying contrary to what they have polled. It is a media hype to run their channel to churn money

There is a certain bias in the media against the BJP.
The Punjab problem was a creation of the Congress when they propped up Bhindranwale to cut the Shiromani Akali Dal to size. The Kashmir problem was created by the Congress and the NC when they rigged the 1987 elections. One of the candidates who lost due to rigging went on to become Syed Salauddin of the Hizbul Mujahiddeen.
Despite all this, the Congress party point fingers at the BJP. Kailasa and Manasarovar were handed over to China while Thinvida region was given to Bangladesh by the Congress during their rule

If NDA gets 218 seats its a good tally; but whats the use of this utterance now. can't they wait up to 16th . Wisdoms teaches to keep shut in between when the game is over.
