Not Enough!
by Ram Sharma on Mar 31, 2009 06:19 PM  | Hide replies

In 2004, a former president of South Korea was awarded the death sentence on charges of corruption!

Can we have improvement in our law so as to give suitable punishment to our politicians who are guilty of corruption or other crimes?!

Lalu(900 crores in fodder scam),Mayawati(600 crores in Taj-Yamuna Corridor), MMS (hurting religious sentiments of Hindus), and so on?

Not only Sanjay Dutt, but all MPs/MLAs who have bee convicted of offences like murder/extortion/rape etc should also be debarred from contesting the elections.

Hedgewar Ji, As someone who has been in the Armed forces at a fairly senior level for over 35 years, I can assure you that your information re corrupting of the military by the BJP does not appear to be correct!
MMS appears to be in the process of handing over the future of India to muzlims to garner their votes. The damage done to India and particularly Hindusim by the present Congi govt is incalculable. Hence, I am afraid i cannot share your view that MMS is good PM for 99.99% Hindus.
Congi govt and MMS is the worst thing to have happened to india since independence! BJP, with all its mistakes and weaknesses, is the only hope for India and Hindus. Vote BJP!

why ppls always looks at politicians when they want to see corrupt ppls ???

the babu, secretaries, ias officers govt officers all r corrupt and each n every person who gets a chance to earn money by short cuts never hesitate to do it....

everybody is busy in making money for them and for their future generations in india thats why these politicians take advantage of us.

I agree with you totally! Sadly, there are very few amongst us Indians who are not corrupt.
We generally talk of corruption in two places because we face it in our day to day life: Politicians and Policemen!
Both categories have a degree of honesty not exceeding 1%!

Rejection of Sanjay Dutt's Plea by SC
by rakesh kumar nigam on Mar 31, 2009 06:19 PM

Thank God ! at least there is someone to take care of public.
I appreciate SC's decision and expect same kind of treatment for all the criminla background candidates irrespective of their stature and partisan.
Let the Trust remain in Judiciary.
Ideally The step should have been taken by EC at the time of his filing for nomination. Also its a lesson for SP, who wanted to encash Sanjay's popularity for gaining political mileage.
Let Sanjay work on grass root first for social cause and proove his Gandhigari.
Hey does any one know the exact no of SP candidates who has criminal background ?

Rakesh Nigam

UNFAIR DECISION
by richard robert on Mar 31, 2009 06:15 PM  | Hide replies

With due respect to supreme court, the law should prevail for all, OH, then parties like RJD/BSP will have no candidates and the party will perish, Its rather pity, to have been denied ticket for a great film star, who comes from a very very dignified family, son of a great human being, and he has never behaved in a rude behaviour, though he has been sentenced for a reason not clearly known, then the likes of shabuddin, shibu soren, papu yadav and many more are having a great time, mayawati has given majority of the criminals the ticket why is double standard practiced

Sanjay is a criminal who possessed arms and amuniations to support the terrorists who killed 500 innocent people. Supreme courts verdict is most welcome!! It cannot be a excuse to let a criminal scot free as bcoz others are not yet convicted.
