100% True!
WHY should you retire when you are on TOP of yur game and are contributing.
It is indeeed selfish to look out for oneself and retire when you can contribute immensely!

One has to alwayz listen to his heart which make him different from others......

Well Done "sachin" keep on going others will always talk if u perform or not. i think independence is been used for all these critics

Sachin did this when all of us were tired of his efforts at the cost of national priorities. This is definitely a extraordinary good personal achievement. But,it is time that he understands the idiocy of stretching a good thing too far,

he is one man.. there are still atleast 4 places apart from the core team that are free. how come none of these yongsters have proved their mettle when given more than a chance. Sachins average is still better or in the top 3 in the indian team. so talk abt the ones who dont perform consistently . not abt the ones who do. ppl like u are never satisfied becoz u take things for granted and have more jealously than appreciation.

On your 100th 100, and India lost to lowly Bangladesh. Opener, no pressure, easy opposition, batting track. Century was inevitable. If only he could have helped his country win. Give me a Dravid anyday, who despite being less talented always played with his heart and for his country, a team player to the core. This is the fundamental difference between Dravid and Sachin.

Dravid was at the top of his game in 2011 and retired with grace and dignity. Mr Tondulkar believes it is selfish to retire even when the world knows he is past his peak.

dravid wasn't at the top of his game.. he retired becoz he cudn cope with the pace and bounce n was getting bowled continuously. he decided since he cannot contribute he shud retire. he was a fantastic player. but sachin is undeniabley better as a batsman.

dravid is a very good player, but when he scored 100's in England still we lost the series4-0 , that means hitting hundred's are waste, cricket is a team game every one has to contribute for teams win , in bangla match our bowlers are the reason to loose the match not sachin or any other batsmen

It is not wise to retire at the top of your game. What gave you the idea you are on top now ? It is selfish to think so, given your struggles recently in England and Australia. To see you go from 80 to hundred in this match was painful to watch. Such a performance befits a tail ender fearing a furious pace attack. It is selfish to persist in your delusion that you are still at the top of your game.

8 wickets in hand and last 10 overs and two set batsmen. One of them is so called Master Blaster, who takes 39 b@lls to score 20 runs for his Mahasatak..
