Fundamentally the BCCI and the selectors must realize that the usual considerations for Sachin as his ‘own master’ is no more valid. Any effort by them to perpetuate that premise is only going to hurt Indian cricket very badly--a virtual disaster for One dayers and may be lesser adverse effect on the Tests but adverse effect all the same. Actually Sachin's inclusion is affecting in two ways. First, his Hundredth hundred is becoming very big distraction for the whole team. When he gets out cheaply or even close to hundred the whole team gets demoralized. Second, his inclusion doesn't serve much purpose for the long run except for blocking a place of a youngster putting limitation of 'rotation' for trying out more flexibility.Thus selectors are not free to build a new young side. With Sehawag and Gambhir in the opening slot the team management can freely experiment and build the new side. In fact if Sehwag also doesn't fire then even he should be asked to go back to domestic cricket and younger faces tried in his place.

a person of sachins calibre should not be degraded like this. it is only in this series we have seen Sachin going down. instead of supporting the player most of them take this to blame. why dont they think of all the achievements he had achieved

He is not playing well and that is it..he shud be dropped period!! no need letting him play for his 100th ton..he has already been provided many a opportunity and he shud thank the selectors and retire..Indians are generous wen looking at icons but the icons too need introspection and shud leave at right time before tongues start wagging and people start hating them

Everyone knows he has achieved which nobody can..but enough of glorifying it now when it doesnt come to help the team win matches. Chappel has analysed perfectly the current scenario of Indian team rounding unnecessarily around Sachin. He should really think of his future and what is good for the team not his 100th ton.
What more can he expect from a stupid austlian like Ian?? He is no new to tendulkar criticism..... We all know Tendulkar may not be in the right frame of mind.. But I am sure I dont want to hear it from an idiot like Ian...

It was well evident that on that day idiot Lee came and block the way of Sachin otherwise he could have easily reached the crease. But it has not happened when on 99, so we cannot say Sachin has missed an opportunity to score 100. Chappel and others like Akram will bark at Sachin because they cannot tell anything about their own country players. Sachin is Sachin, whatever others tell about him and he has proved so many times his value for Indian cricket team and he will prove it again and again.

First of all,sachin was out by all means , and yes sachin is sachin ,no other player can fake like him for so many years . He must be feeling very relaxed as India got out of the series otherwise he , again , would have been expose to quality bowling

When "Sachin" is in "Form",Ian will "Praise" when "not" he will "Target"( Typical Australian)to gain "publicity" in "India". Some points mentioned by "Ian" are "Valid","Sachin" should only play for "Nation". But "Sachin" knows that "MEMORY" of indian people are "Short" & everybody will "Forget" once he gets "100",Especially "Opportunic Corporate media"(Indian Tamasha for poor Indian people").
