See in home tests the home teams are always at an advantage..
What happended to the World No 1 team in the world ............ 72 allout
When oz and english come to india prepare the most vicious turners and slow wickets and lets see how these guys fare ............ put a combination of Ohja, Mishra, Ashwin and Bhajji and one pacer and lets see how these guys fare..........they should be 50 allout

A 5-0 thrashing of English team in IDI's just a few months back in India. Can it not be called a 'brown wash'?

Is it? Amazing. How many brown washes we did since 1932? Find out. Even Windies drew a test in Wankhede.

So by Imran's logic, Sehwag/Gambhir/Dravid/Sachin/Laxman/Kohli/Raina/Dhoni/PraveenKumar/Ishant/Zaheer/Ashwin/Yadav everyone should retire.
if you are gud with data tendulkar received maximum no,s of man of the match generally given to the player who played well from the winning side, and tehre are people who says he is not the match winner. get ur facts right tendulkar taught indian team how to win, you can see the stat indian criwket pre and post tendulkar

Dont show SACHINS PERSONAL STATISTICS find out how many test and one dayers INDIA WON WHEN SACHIN SCORE 100
Re: Re: Stop all that bullshit about Sachin
by Rajiv Kumar on Jan 31, 2012 12:24 PM
When Sachin scored 100 and other failed, how is he to be blamed? That is Indian typical analysis, always blame the person who does the hard work.

MR gr8 Jayadaven go n visit sachin zone in cricbuzz , u will see hw many matches we saved and won becoz of sachin's 100s . dont come here and bark abt sachin. It is a complete team failure. No one is to be blamed ,they should have given some fight before losing .Fighting spirit is gone after Saurav's exit. Every team is playing superbly in home and badly in away conditions now.Give some time India will come good.As Kapil said we have to support our fellows when they are down.

All have played more than 10 matches. Isnt it enough to be consistent? And if average is good in the long run, it means that the person is getting good scores.

Relax Dude... even im not supporting any1 here... My opinion is jst that sachin's average is better coz he played more matches than any 1 listed above.. I never said that sachin cannot handle pressure.. i think he plyed better than any other batsman in AUS series.. under pressure!!! Its just others had additional responsibility
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Stop all that bullshit about Sachin
by raj aus on Jan 31, 2012 12:44 PM
well the same point again.. when you compare the averages with the number of matches played.. you will have the answer :).. Also consider fitness/pressure(captain or bowler)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Stop all that bullshit about Sachin
by Against Pseudos on Jan 31, 2012 12:47 PM
Maths wizard. We are discussing averages. Not total.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Stop all that bullshit about Sachin
by Rajiv Kumar on Jan 31, 2012 12:50 PM
After captain or bowler, maybe u will next go and say opposition coach/fielder, etc. And then u will say XYZ player did not play 20 matches because of fitness..... What have others got to do with it? I am not supporting any batsman here, but saying Sachin's good innings came when there was no pressure is as immature as telling he is the only one responsible for victory (as some of his so called fans claim).
PONTING SAID ABOUT TRAINGULAR SERIES. NO NEED OF 3RD FINAL. WE CAN WON FIRST 2 FINAL. SACHIN BACK TO BACK CENTURIES MADE INDIA TO WON THE FIRST 2 FINALS. THIS TYPE OF INNINGS SACHIN PLAYED MANY AND MANY. BUT WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE, WITHOUT WATCHING CRICKET, FEW BLINDLY COMMENTS AGAINST SACHIN. IT HURTS REALLY TO ENTIRE WORLD OF CRICKET FANS.
HOW DARE TO TALK ABOUT OUR INDIAN PRIDE SACHIN.IMRAN KHAN IS FOOL, CORRUPTED AND FIXER. IMRAN KHAN LESS THAN SACHIN FOOT. WE ALL AND ENTIRE WORLD KNOWS SACHIN IS GREAT PLAYER AND REAL MATCH WINNER. ALL PEOPLE IN THE WORLD USED TO SWITCH OFF THE TV'S AFTER SACHIN GOT OUT. HE WON MANY MATCHES EASILY FOR INDIA. I CAN EXPLAIN MANY AND MANY MATCHES HOW EASILY WON INDIA BCZ OF HIM. AFTER SACHIN GOT OUT, HOW CHEAPLY ENTIRE TEAM FALLS DOWN. IT STUPIDITY TO INSULT OUR GREAT HEROES. HOW COME MATTER OF SACHIN RETIREMENT. STILL HE IS BEST. ONLY SACHIN FAILED OR ENTIRE TEAM FAILED. STILL HE IS NO.2, SCORER IN THIS SERIES.
Re: NO SACHIN-NO CRICKET
by Rajiv Kumar on Jan 31, 2012 12:30 PM
This is heights of exaggeration Koni. Sachin is India's pride, no doubt. Imran Khan was a great cricketer! But these statements are political ones, I understand. And I am not defending Imran. But to say the whole world used to switch off TV after he got out would be a blindly exaggerated statement. Indians do not comprise of the whole world!! And he cannot be best for life long. He is a human, and is bound to fail. It is the fans who burden him with very high expectations each time he goes to bat!
Retirement by Makya (View MyPage) on Jan 31, 2012 11:27 AM | Hide message
Billions of Indians wanted Tendulkar to retire on a good note after WC win. But shameless oldies like Tendulkar, Dravid & Laxman are still in the team. It'd be better to lose with the young blood infusion rather than these outdated seniors blocking places of young talent.
Imran Khan is not always right. SRT has been playing well and scoring runs.. remember his best years are between 2008-10 after a decline in 2005-7. He got a second wind and scored a lot of runs everywhere.. Its true that in the last couple of series (Eng, Aus), his inner demons got the better of him and he suffered.. a good player won't become a bad one overnight. The river is nearing its end and the legend's glory is slowly fading away.. I believe, SRT will come back really strong and then he would hang up his boots.. and we all know that Indian cricket will never be same again..
Re: The return of SRT..
by Yatin Shirali on Jan 31, 2012 12:34 PM
rightly said friend. SRT is too good a player not to realise this. he will surely rise from the dead. just keep the faith.
Sachin will not retire until he gets his 100th 100..he has signed the 16cr deal with coke for this... coke is ready with 6.5 million cans manufactured in the month of may brand called Tendalya 100.. Coke payed already 10cr advance..if he retire without that 100 then he has to pay back 10cr with interest.. he was under pressure from sponsors for that ton..who knows he might have signed many deals like that.. only this is one is there in public domain..if u think I am wrong please google it..

Ecnomic times dated 18th JUL 2011 Tribute to Tendulkar: Coca-Cola to roll out 6.5 million 'Sachin' cans as part of 100th century celebrations..The world's largest beverages brand plans a grand tribute to Sachin Tendulkar who is one century short of becoming the first batsman to score 100 international centuries: launch some 6.5 million special Coca-Cola cans with pictures of the master batsman.
The move will help the cola giant make the most out of its Rs 12-15-crore endorsement deal with Tendulkar signed early this year, and make up for not leveraging the association during the Cricket World Cup that India won.

U WANT FREE ENTERTAINMENT. SACHIN IS ENTERTAINING ALL THE WORLD OF THE PEOPLE. HOW MUCH HE CAN GET. BUT IT IS VERY LESS THAN WHAT HE GIVE TO WORLD
Re: Re: Tendalya 100 coke brand deal for 16cr
by Rajiv Kumar on Jan 31, 2012 12:33 PM
Entertainment?? Koni, u should be confused about Sachin Pilgaonkar of Hindi cinema and Sachin Tendulkar. The latter is playing serious cricket and not entertaining people.
He should have retired post the World cup. He is more of a burden now to the Indian team. If he want to continue, may be he should ask for captaincy and help in the transition period and hand it over to the next guy and then retiring from all forms of game.
